Perfect for my small room. I thought I was going to have to replace my old 1990s subwoofer but this unit “revived it”. It’s sounds much better with this receiver compared to my other one. Very easy to set up.

The Amazon description claims that this receiver supports eARC, which allows a game console or PC to be connected via HDMI to enjoy multi-channel PCM sound, in addition to other audio enhancements. However, when I received the unit, only "ARC" is labeled on the HDMI Out port (see first attached picture), and when I hooked up my PC it recognized that only stereo 2-channel output was available. This isn't an issue with my PC, as I previously had it hooked up to a Yamaha receiver where it recognized up to 8 channels were available. Digging up the full owner's manual online (it only came with a Quick Start Guide in the box) I discovered that this functionality is only available on the much more expensive MA510 and MA710 models (see second picture), for which the HDMI Out port is correctly labeled as "eARC" (see third picture). How is it that A/V receivers released in 2024 still not include eARC as a standard option? At any rate, shame on JBL and/or Amazon for printing false information on their product page. I will be returning this unit.

Very happy with it,just wish it had more RCA video jacks but I made it work. Awesome sound and video definitely a big improvement especially with my century l100s.

IT was so very difficult to use But it really sounded amazing I sent it back cause it was taking me way way too long to navigate it's features.
