I did my homework and these are the results of this product
1. Source & type • Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite (MCHA) • Non-nano • Bovine, pasture-raised, from Australia • Labeled “Natural Calcium Phosphate | BSE-Free” • BSE-free = they’re explicitly screening for mad-cow–type concerns. 👉 For a natural, enamel-like mineral for toothpaste, this is exactly the category of ingredient you want. 2. Particle size / texture COA says: • “>95% through 60 mesh (USP 786)” • 60-mesh is a fairly fine powder (most particles under ~250 microns). • So it should feel soft/very slightly chalky, not like sand. That’s good for toothpaste: fine enough not to be super abrasive, but still non-nano. 3. Composition (what’s actually in it) From the “Analytical” section: • Protein (collagen, etc.): spec >20%, result 30.79% • Calcium: spec >20%, result 22.97% • Phosphorus: spec >10%, result 10.80% • Fat: spec <3%, result 1.00% • Ash (total minerals): spec <75%, result 60.88% • Moisture: spec <6%, result 4.10% What that means in normal language: • It’s real bone mineral, not just a lab-made calcium salt: • Lots of mineral (ash, calcium, phosphorus) → the hydroxyapatite you want. • A decent amount of protein → collagen and organic matrix from the bone. • Very little fat and moisture, which is good for shelf life and taste. This is exactly what you’d expect for good-quality MCHA: a mix of mineral + natural bone matrix, cleaned and dried. 4. Quality signals Green flags I see: • Clear country of origin (Australia) and batch number. • Specific test methods listed (AOAC, USP) → they’re using standard lab methods, not just eyeballing it. • Results all meet or exceed their own specifications. • Expiry date (2027) → not something sketchy with no dating. Things the COA doesn’t show (but that’s normal): • Heavy metals, microbiology, etc., are often on a full COA, not always on a “summary” page. If you ever wanted to be extra-extra careful, you could ask the supplier for the full COA, but what you have already looks pretty legit. 5. Bottom line for your toothpaste • Yes, this looks like a good-quality, non-nano, pasture-raised bovine MCHA. • It’s appropriate for what you want: a natural, enamel-like mineral to add to your coconut-oil toothpaste. • You can safely stick with the recipe we talked about (and adjust if your mouth wants gentler or stronger): For a small batch: • 3 tbsp coconut oil • 1 tsp very fine baking soda • 1–1½ tsp of this MCHA powder • 2–3 drops clove oil • 5–8 drops peppermint oil I hope this helps anyone with questions. The picture is from my specific batch. Your batch will have a different COA.

Completely healed my teeth!
Been using it for 3 months and I’ve seen a huge improvement in my enamel. Even my dentist couldn’t believe the difference. The spot they had been keeping eye on was healed. It’s even solved my teeth sensitivity to cold. Best purchase I’ve made by far!

Don't hesitate, homemade toothpaste that works better than store bought. And you know what's in it. My teeth quite literally squeak after brushing. They feel so smooth too!

BE PREPARED - IT'S A VERY TINY AMOUNT FOR THE $$$
I have no doubt this is a quality product...that's why I ordered it. However, I wasn't paying attention to exactly what 15g really is. This isn't even a tablespoon of product! So I'm not sure what people are using it for....my DIY is for a mouthwash. But at this cost, I'm going to have to really skimp on the product! Who knew..... Again....It's no fault to the quality of the product. Just know the teeny size you will get compared to what you want to make with it. It may be cost prohibitive!

product is smaller than what it appears in pictures
The picture looks bigger than it is. The product is the size or 1/2 of a dollar bill. Very tiny amount for the price
