VAMOOSE. I am trying these packets to rid the garage of a mouse or mice. It's a non-kill, non-toxic way to deter rodents. The packets need to be changed once a month that are placed in various areas to deter the mice from entering or staying.

Read this if you're considering buying this: It is worth. I was unsure if they would really be a one way cure to the solution but the pouches doesn't completely stop them, it just deters them. If you want to completely stop them, you have to identify the entry points and close it up with something like steel wool. Adding the pouches on top of that makes it 10x more efficient. But yea, the pouches in my opinion are a layer of protection to add on top of what else you're doing to prevent them.

Quite simply, this solution does not work! Vamoose was selected based on claims that it would rid us of vermin, while at the same time being perfectly safe for humans and pets. After receiving the first order, we (foolishly) placed a second order - so that we might provide additional coverage. The bottom line is that our uninvited house guests are still with us, despite our having washed, disinfected, re-washed, packaged, cleaned and stored, dishes, silverware, clothing and numerous items - at great time and expense. To deter our little friends, we've made trips to Walmart, IKEA and to The Container Store to purchase various protective containers. Despite our very best efforts there are still mouse droppings and rodent urine seen daily in the kitchen, master bedroom and other areas of our residence. VAMOOSE has NOT done its job! This product is a joke and we would like our money back! Mouse droppings are everywhere and our work is unending. We do NOT encourage anyone to purchase this product. Even a 1-star rating is far too high!

Twenty-seven (27) days ago on September 3, 2025, I received my order that contained 16 bags of BugMD Vamoose Rodent Repellent Pouches. ALL bags went in various locations in the basement but especially near one of the two Ring security cams in the basement. That was how I knew I had at least three mice in the basement. They had triggered the motion sensor when they “followed the leader”. Yesterday I was playing loud music but I also heard a loud banging noise coming the street side wall in my bedroom. Cameras showed no one outside. When I turned off the music, the banging stopped. I guess mice do not like Amazon’s “relaxing” music. I concur. There’s nothing relaxing about flamingo music. Tonight … within seconds of a feral cat walking away from the empty bowl of cat food I had put outside on the porch for him, a mouse popped up and was visible on the front door security cam. When I turned the lights on, it would hide. With lights off, it was back in action. The cams caught and recorded this activity again and again and again. Other than keeping the lights on throughout the house all night, I STILL do not have an effective and non-lethal way to keep mice out of my house. Instead of wasting my $60+ dollars on Vamoose, I wish I had bought a security cam with very brights lights for my basement. That way every time they moved, they’d trigger activating a bright light and run… but so far, never far enough… unfortunately. Bright light seems more effective in scaring them away than anything else I’ve tried but keeping them away is the other problem. Even three feral cats prowling around the exterior of my house does not stop the mouse housing problem. An indoor cat??? Sorry… my litter changing days are over… no matter how cute and endearing they are. And I’m not emptying mouse traps either. Amen.

I bet I have had over 5000 mice in my home. For the past three years mice have been really bad in my neighborhood. In fact so bad, all neighbors sought the city for intervention. I have paid thousands of dollars to fill holes around my home. I have used steel wool, traps, glue traps, one bite, contrac and top cat, just to name a few. I have also purchased ultra sonic devices. Nothing has worked. On November 15th, I received Bud MD Vamoose I cleaned up the area where I had bait stations and mice droppings I refilled the bait stations and placed the Bug MD. Varoom pouches in every room accept the bathroom and next to all bait stations. Since putting the pouches in all the rooms, today was the first day I saw a mouse. It was in the bathroom, so I put pouches in the bathroom. The Bud MD Vamoose has been in placed since November 15th, Today is November 19th, I see no droppings and the bait stations are still full. This product says it is only good for in doors. They need an out door one. Maybe then they will not come in at all. All the money I have spent on poison and patching holes, and electronic devices have not stopped the mouse, but Bug MD Vamoose seems to be giving me some relief. I am going to feel my outside bait stations and I hope and pray that they make a pouch for outside use. If they have please let me know. I wish they could create something permanent because it is horrible to live with mice or any pest for that matter. If you are having problems with mice, please purchase Bug Md.Vamoose and please let me know of anything that can permanently deter them because I was about to move out of my house. That is how bad it has been in my area. This is an update Today November 22nd, 7 days later they are back. I guess it works as long as the smell is strong. Somebody please created something to get rid of these things. They are all in neighborhood again. Never seen anything like this before the past couple of years. I am ready to fumigate my house.
