Finest Critical Driving Vision Supplement I Own
I added this wireless camera system to my older Toyota truck and dark tinted camper shell prior to taking an extended camping trip to the Pacific Northwest. Best thing I could have done. These older eyes and stiffer neck muscles ain't what they used to be. I have tested this camera system on and off road while encountering fine glacial-powdered dust, dumping rain and everything short of snow yet that this climate and landscape can dish out and its performed like a champ. Zero maintenance issues. The screen size is perfect as it doesn't distract from the responsibility of keeping one's eyes on the road, even at night. And the wide angle image is frankly, beautiful. I can see what's behind me and back confidently into a tight parking space or secluded dark nook off of a Forest Service road for the night. I don't know how I got by without this marvelous piece of designed tech hardware. Don't hesitate. It's robust. Buy it. It works! One tip: some model vehicles can't power the camera from the license plate light wire as it's half the necessary voltage. My mechanic solved that problem and commented that the quality of the image matched other cameras that were higher priced. I would trust any piece of gear from Do Honest. You guys rock!

Quick Enough Install on 2005 Toyota Sequoia
I installed the backup camera on our 2005 Toyota Sequoia. The rig has a rear window that can roll up/down so I had to run all of the wires behind the lift mechanism. There were no access holes from near the license plate so I drilled a hole through the space that houses the license plate light. Easy enough to run the wires to the side taillight housing. I spliced into the red/blue wire (positive) for the camera's red wire and the white/black wire (negative) for the camera's black wire (using the two included plastic items). My only mistake was not squeezing the splice hard enough to make good contact with the ground wire. Oops! I was unable to install the camera in the dead center of the license plate as it would have blocked access to the rear door handle. I placed it above the left mounting screw. It came pre-paired and re-pairing was as easy as pushing the menu button (on the monitor) and selecting "Pair" and then clicking the small black button on the camera once. It was also pretty easy to set up the inclination/width lines: I set up some frisbees in the rear and used them to calibrate. My only issue is that, although it's mounted 2.5" off-center, there doesn't appear to be a way to shift the lines left/right to account for my style of setup. The end result is an inability to get perfect fidelity between camera display and actual position of the rear of the vehicle. The night vision is excellent and must be considered a selling point. I backed up our driveway and out into our cul-de-sac with no issues immediately after installation. I have yet to try it during daylight hours, but I'm certainly expecting a similar quality of video/display. I think I will install another one on the rear of our travel trailer so that backing into a camping site can be a one-man job. Overall, very happy and I would order again.

Good choice
It was fairly easy to install. The main problem was in tight working condition on the car (Honda), and of course the auto wires were not color coded (green & black instead of red and black but black was correct, so the other had to be red) other than that it was easy enough. I would have been better if the wires of the camera had a little more space before it got to the overall outer wrapping -- since the car left little freeplay in its wires, it has to come from the add on device. I had barely enough to work with that I could strip back and solder -- if I had screwed it up more that once (which I did) it would have been very difficult to "peel back" more outer covering to get access to the inner wires (the wire overall was ample in length -- just the working area a the end was limited.

Fail's after a few months, Company replaced! (Edited Review)
The camara failed after a few months, the screen shows nothing but water droplets everywhere even tho the lens and inside the lens are clean. This leads me to believe the water is inside the lens it self with no way to fix it. The amount of time spent installing it then to have it failed after so little time. You are better off looking elsewhere for a higher quality product and save you're money. Edit. A few days after this review the camara it self fully failed, absolutely zero response from the company and no other way to file a warranty claim. AVOID! Edit #2. Company reached out to me and sent me replacement kit to fix the current one, I will re-edit this review if it's needed or if there is any issues from here on. As current I have not had to a chance to install it, ill do that this weekend. I have bumped it from 1 star to 3 stars as they did end up honoring the warranty on the product. If this ends up just being a one off problem I will update it with more stars as time goes on.

Easy.
I recieved this about 3 days ago, and was excited like a kid at Christmas to install it. I put it on a 2010 Chevy Silverado 8ft bed. The reason for the installation was because I'm giving my truck to my kids who just got their license and all 16yr old are horrible drivers so I am trying to make it safer. But anyway install was straight forward very easy 20 minutes plenty of wire everything you need is in box. Already paired which was great picture pretty good if not better than good. The only complaint I would have and its really not even a complaint I wish it came with an metal mounted bracket so I can mount it lower. But other than that 5 stars I'll try it a few months see if it lasts then get one for my 2005 Toyota 4 runner.

Quality Components
This backup camera delivers as advertised, with quality components. I installed the kit on a Toyota Sequoia because it's difficult to see what's behind the vehicle due to its size and tinted windows. I feel much more confident backing up now. I also intend to use the camera to help me connect to a travel trailer. I struggled with the T-Taps but was able to manually splice the camera wire with a reverse light wire. I'd suggest ditching the T-taps and skipping right to a manual splice. There's about a five-second lag between shifting to reverse and the video image appearing on the monitor, but I suspect that's what you get with a wireless connection between camera and monitor (totally worth it over feeding a cable across the length of the vehicle). The seller has been courteous and quick to respond to my messages.
