Most seeds are good quality, some not good for an aerogarden application.
Everything germinated, and I used more seeds than recommended just in case and there were plenty of seeds in the package. These seeds have mixed results for use in an aerogarden or in my case a myheartgarden.Tthe Mint has a very mild scent, so not the best, although it grows really well. The Flat Leaf Parsley isn't bad, but the stems are way too tall for an aerogarden type and it doesn't branch when pruned, so not very good for this application, although it would probably do well outside or in a pot with good light - the leaves are quite large. Thyme is great and has grown well, as has the Oregano. The Basil actually is burned by the light on myheartgarden so maybe not good for this application. Possibly better outside, in an actual Aerogarden, or grown in a pot on the counter sitting next to the aerogarden so it doesn't get burned and can grow to its full height. It branches nicely when pruned.

Fun to grow!
Bought for elderly mother-in-law for her aquatic garden. The lettuce is growing wonderfully.!

Poorly thought through offering
Handling the product is a tedious mess. Herb seeds are tiny and instructions state they should be soaked for 12 hours. Figure out how to drain the seeds and get them into the sponge. The plastic caps are not snug over the sponge and cover. All plantings failed. Perhaps operator error, but I will never buy again. I will stick to the packaged Aerogarden pods. At least they support their product.

Seeds labeled wrong
Good quality and sprouted consistently. The basil sent was not Genovese, it was lemon basil. Also, it seems that one seed sprouted was Celery. Very strange

Not a fan
This did not turn out as planned. I’m not sure if it’s me or just the promise of having a bunch of herbs available to cut at any time. But it just doesn’t turn out that way maybe it’s me maybe it’s the product I don’t know.

Great product and customer service
We received product with a pod missing contacted manufacturer and they replied immediately and not only sent a replacement pod mailed out a whole new kit. Love growing the fresh herbs.

Consistent with other reviews, everything came unlabeled, so I had to sleuth with some images searches and product comparisons to figure out which seeds were which. There were no instructions, so I had to figure that one out with some google research too, so as far as product coming ready to go I was disappointed. However, everything appeared to be high quality so I'm crossing my fingers that some of the seeds will germinate. Based on all the reviews the seller would go a long way if they just labeled the seeds and put in a small sheet of paper with instructions or a QR code so I could get to the instructions for each type of seed. 1. Preparing the Sponges Before you put anything in the garden, soak the brown peat sponges in a bowl of room-temperature water for about 5–10 minutes. This ensures they are fully hydrated; if they are bone-dry when you start, they might not wick water correctly from the reservoir. 2. How Many Seeds to Use? This is the most common question, and the answer depends on the type of plant: Small Seeds (Lettuce, Herbs, Petunias): Use 3–5 seeds per sponge. Not every seed will germinate, so this increases your odds. If all of them sprout, you can use a small pair of scissors to snip the weakest ones later. Large Seeds (Tomatoes, Peppers, Beans): Use only 1–2 seeds per sponge. These plants grow aggressively and will crowd each other out if more than one survives in a single pod. 3. Assembling the Pod Slide the hydrated sponge into the plastic grow cone (the cage). Drop your seeds into the small hole at the top of the sponge. You don't need to bury them deep; just make sure they aren't sitting right on the surface where they might dry out. Crucial Step: Place the clear plastic germination dome over the top of the cone. This creates a mini-greenhouse effect. Leave these on until the sprout is almost touching the plastic, then remove them. 4. Setup and Maintenance Fill the Tank: Use room-temperature tap water or distilled water. Add Nutrients: Follow the instructions on your nutrient bottle (usually 2 capfuls for a 6-pod garden). Note: Do not add extra nutrients just because you want them to grow faster; this can actually "burn" the young plants. The Light: Lower the light hood as close to the pods as possible (usually about 1–2 inches above the domes). As the plants grow, move the light up so it never touches the leaves. Planting Strategy for your AeroGarden: -Cilantro (Image 1): Use 2-3 of the round balls per pod. They have a hard shell, so they take a bit longer to sprout. -Parsley (Image 2): Use 5-8 seeds. Parsley is notoriously slow to germinate (it can take 2-3 weeks), so don't worry if it looks like nothing is happening for a while. -Basil (Top Right): Use 3 seeds. Basil is the "star student"—it will likely sprout first and grow the fastest. -Dill (Top Left): Use 3 seeds. Put this in the back of your garden because it will grow very tall and could block the light for the others. -Thyme & Oregano: Use a pinch (8-10 seeds). These seeds are so small that they need safety in numbers to ensure at least one or two take hold.

i am not a genius when it comes to gardening, but have purchased seed packages before from Canadian tire for my AeroGarden, Ordered this time on Amazon, package arrived. Everything was included, but no instructions , seed packages not marked - no idea what the herbs were. Out of 6 cones I only have success with 3 they are great, smell good - taste growing good. . Other three nothing and starting to mold. second time i have reseeded, nothing. My opinion i will stick with Canadian Tire.

4 seeds sprouted quickly, 2 types of seeds were replanted twice, didn’t grow.

The seeds came in unmarked packets so I had to try and guess what they were. When I planted them only 2 of the 6 varieties germinated. I was very disappointed with the product.
