There actually is no low pass filter. The subwoofer output will send a full bandwidth signal and rely on your subwoofer for crossover tuning. And likewise the speaker terminals will always be sent a full range signal as well.

This is exactly what I'm planning to do, and it seems like it should work fine. That's a 6-ohm speaker, and the power ratings for the Sprout are listed at 50 W into 8 ohms, or 100 W into 4 ohms. Power for 6 ohms should be somewhere in between, but it's hard to tell exactly. Sensitivity is listed at 87 dB for the FS52. That should be nice and loud even at 50 W, but at 100W it would be even better!
