ECCPP AC Compressor Clutch for Ford for F-150 5.0L 2018-2020 AC Clutch

I used this ECCPP kit to replace the AC clutch on my 2017 Ford Taurus Limited (non-turbo). This was my first time tackling an AC clutch job, and I was honestly impressed by how complete the kit was. It included everything needed, including various shim washers to get the clearance exactly right. Installation & Tools: It took me about an hour to finish. For those DIYing this, you’ll definitely want a socket set, an impact (makes it much easier), a feeler gauge for the shims, and a small pry bar. Performance: The AC is blowing ice cold again and has been working perfectly for about a week now. The quality feels solid, and considering this kit was about 1/6th the price of the Motorcraft version, the value is unbeatable. If you're on the fence about going aftermarket for this repair, this kit is a safe bet.

Works great. Be sure to adjust clutch air gap with a feeler gauge or it won’t engage. Also, don’t mess up your snap rings, because mine didn’t come with new ones.

This is good and working but the magnet is smaller than the OEM. This is first time I used or fixed ac part but with easy comparison , it's smaller on internal side. But it's working fine so gave 3 stars. It's already been about 6 months and no issues but will update if it's still ok after a year. Update: I don't know if it's coincidence or what.. I just reviewed less than 24 hours back and today evening, this thing stopped working. I opened the hood and saw that the metal strips that connects the that internal coil are broken. Check the photo. Now my issue is this. As the internal part was smaller, I can't fit other brand or OEM as this pullyay not be able to take OEM internal thing. Now I have to buy this again or replace the set with OEM which will be better quality. I don't know I am stuck now. Very bad quality. This didn't even last for 6 months. Better to buy OEM or better quality.

If you have a Pontiac Vibe, this kit is NOT for you! You need GM 88972204 - there are reman kits available on Amazon for 2x the price. Otherwise: This is a high quality product, that appears to be well made, and I regret that I was not able to use it. My brother in law has a 2005 Pontiac Vibe, which is just a rebadged Toyota Matrix, with minor differences. UNFORTUNATELY, one of those minor differences is the A/C compressor, and this pulley is too large for your compressor, and the magnetic coil is too large and will not fit on the compressor, either. Don't be lazy like me and make the same incorrect assumption that I did. If you have a Vibe, you'll have to look elsewhere, unfortunately. Otherwise, this is a great kit, at a great price, and includes all the hardware you need if your magnetic coil has failed for a Corolla or Matrix, and if that vehicle is yours, definitely get this and get the repair done.

Everything went in perfectly. Came with new c clips and shims for the clutch plate. Have had cold A/C for the past 2 weeks. Very happy with the parts. Everything came neatly packaged for a product at this price point.

This does fit a 2005 Forester, ignore the Amazon warning. Writing this immediately after installation, may update if anything changes. Cannot believe how OEM-adjacent this part is. Dimensions are spot on, installation was painless. If your clutch was as torched as mine was, you'll spend 5 times longer taking your original part off. Bolted directly on, my AC is now working better than any point of my 8 years with my XT. Only complaint is the lack of additional spacer washers. The 2 included left zero gap between the pulley. I added the two spacers from my original clutch and I'm barely at the .3mm minimum gap. Regardless, the fit/finish/quality for the price is impossible to beat.

Bought this to replace an AC clutch on a 2020 Jeep Renegade. Everything went on good but when I started the engine the compressor was engaged. This clutch didn't have enough clearance between the plates. Had to add several washers behind the outer plate to give enough clearance to not drag. Clutch works as it should but be aware you might have to modify it to fit.

Worked on a 2013 Nissan Rogue. However, the 3 shims that came with it were not close to enough. Had to get 2 additional washers to allow the clutch to clear the pulley when not engaged.

Perfect fit for my 2018 F150 5.0l, A/C suddenly started blowing hot air. Replaced the clutch with this kit amd instantly blowing ice cold again without remove the compressor or the refrigerant. Highly recommended. I've included photos of the old one and this one.

Installed this on a 2008 Impreza 2.5i SOHC. The replacement bolt was too long, the snaprings were too big, and there were not enough shims. After using the old hardware and making some more shims to get the gap right it works ok.

funciona perfecto en mi corolla 2004 S 1.8 L. Solo una recomendacion para los compradores, los seguros/anillos de retención que vienen en el producto son ligeramente de mayor calibre que los originales, por lo cual recomiendo utilizar los originales de la pieza anterior, pues existe el riesgo al ser mas gruesos no cumplan su funcion y se suelte el electroiman.

Fait la job mais j’ai du garder mes « spaceurs » d’origine car ceux fournis avec ne fonctionne pas dans leurs trou. Je me demande pourquoi ils ne s’en sont pas rendu compte? De plus le bearing de la poulie ne semble pas d’une très grande qualité. J’ai un doute sur le temps qu’il va durer car semblait avoir une « coche »lorsque je le tournais à la main. Je n’ai pas eu le choix de l’installer pareille car mon ancienne pièce était trop endommagée pour être réinstallée, sinon je l’aurait fait et aurait retourné le kit. J’ai écris à la compagnie et pas eu de retour…
