Unexpectedly nice all around, from the packaging to use! The tray is sturdy and comes with multiple trays, as good as anything you could find at a hardware store. Rollers are average quality. They're certainly not the thickest nap, but hold a decent amount of paint for a 4" roller and had even coverage and didn't shed. The handle was comfortable enough for about 30-60min of use without any discomfort. They worked great for some touch ups or detail work--kind of a "jack of all trades" of rollers. Not top-of-the-line, but versatile and great for getting into smaller spaces.

from the packaging (Which isn't important to me) to the quality, the features, build quality, I actually thought Amazon sent me the wrong item. I was looing for a very good value set of disposable paint trays and Home Depot was asking way too much. So I ordered very high qulitythis. The red tray is 10x the quality of any low price paint tray you've ever seen, it has a magnetic strip to lightly hold your brush in place, it has moulded plastic nubs that will wring out your brush, it's thick, can be loaded ith paint and won't bend. It has nonslip nubs for the bottom, comes with 6 high quality rollers that come in a variety of sizes that HD doesn't have, a roller, drop cloths, and even plastic sleeves to line the tray with if you want to dispose of them. Seriously? If you're looking to do a little paint job, get this, trust me, it will blow away any product that anywhere local could even fathom of carrying.

Used this kit on my boat hull to apply bottom paint. Great little kits at a good price. Will definitely purchase again. Extra rollers and trays make it easy. Used water base WBA bottom paint.

What an incredible, well-thought-out product! This has a very sturdy tray and comes with a couple of disposable trays as well. I was surprised to also find a plastic drop cloth and so many rollers. One thing could be better as I notice the rollers sometimes leave a bit of lint behind. Overall, though - very impressed with this product.

This paint kit was just right for our project, more then enough rollers, spred paint evenly, good pricing for the number of pieces and the rollers cleaned up easily. I used these same rollers for paint and stain, the work well, have a tray with replacable refills and that makes clean up great.

I don't have a good excuse for why it took me a year and a half to paint a wall. I'd had electric baseboard heaters removed, and put up drywall patches with spackle. But I just didn't feel like painting, even though I've painted ceramics for 10 years. I didn't want to deal with the mess of painting two wall areas (about 12 feet total). I finally got the energy to do it the millisecond I ordered this. It had everything I needed: paint rollers, easy-to-hold handle, small paint brush, a liner to avoid getting the paint tray permanently messy, and a drop cloth. While I do wish the drop cloth was longer than it was wide, that was about my only complaint. Painting was quick and easy, and these supplies were easy to wash of and clean. I even kept the original liner I used because it is still in good shape and easy to rinse off. Not sure when I'll need to use this again, but it was worth the money spent.

I purchased this mini paint roller kit during a remodeling project and ended up using it far more than I expected. Most of the work involved painting trim, cutting in around walls, detailing around windows and sliding glass doors, and painting along ceiling edges where a full-size roller would have been awkward to use. The 4-inch rollers were a great size for these types of detail-oriented jobs and provided much better control than a standard roller. The kit included everything I needed, and the removable tray liners turned out to be one of my favorite features. Cleanup was much easier than washing out an entire paint tray every time I changed colors or finished for the day. One feature I didn't even notice at first was the built-in magnet for holding a paintbrush. Once I started using it, it became incredibly convenient. I spent a lot of time on a ladder switching between a brush and roller, and being able to temporarily park the brush on the tray meant fewer trips up and down the ladder and less mess. I was also impressed by the red base tray itself. It is much sturdier than I expected and includes non-slip feet that helped keep it stable while working. Little details like that made the kit feel well thought out and easier to use throughout the project. I've used this kit throughout several weeks of remodeling work, and it has held up well while making many of the detailed painting tasks easier and more efficient. If you're painting trim, doors, windows, ceilings, or other areas where precision matters, this is a handy kit to have.
