Mrs. Wages Pickling and Canning Salt

I got this product for canning. it is way better than table salt without any fillers that interfere with the canning process. Decent value.

So now with this purchase we will have enough of our favorite canning salt to last for many, many years. No more scouring the stores to get more canning salt!

There is enough to last me the rest of my life probably but I do use a lot of it for making pickles and canning field peas. Great price and packaged well. Why pay $4 a pound in the grocery store when you can pay a little over a $1 a pound and get Mrs Wages at Amazon.

This brand seems to be the go to brand for pickling and canning salt. My wife does most of the work for the canning (she has her hobbies, I have mine). But I do get involved because I love the results when she cans our produce from the garden. The whole family loves raiding our larder but only few help with the harvest and the work of moving and washing bottles and equipment, sigh.Anyway, I bought it and my wife seemed happy with it when she used it. So far, anyone that has tasted the items she canned and pickled with it seem to be satisfied. So, . . . it worked as advertised.

Lots of salt, you won't run out for a very, very long time. Nice closures on bags too!
