Bee Balm is very cute in person. Her outfit is detailed and looks nice even without the bee overdress. She's jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and feet. She poses pretty well for her size, but the bulky black shirt means that it's hard to put her arms at her sides. Like all dolls in the Ai line, Bee Balm arrives in a presentation box lined in white satin. The presentation really is beautiful; these dolls make great gifts.Note that the recommended age group is 15+. These are intended as collector items for adults. There are some very small parts that make this inappropriate to give to a young child.
