Crate Creatures Surprise- Snort Hog

Kinda small but still very cute in a disgusting way. This review is for all four of this particular family of creatures as we got one of each (read below). Our grandchildren couldn’t stop feeding them to hear them chomp and snort while eating and pulling their tongues to make them shake, light up their eyes and growl. They also liked opening up the crates with the pry bar. It is important to read the enclosed instructions and not just the instructions printed on the crates so the kids can utilize all their unique features and functions. They do a LOT more than eat, light up, shake and growl. We bought all four different creatures in this particular style for four different grandchildren. All of them arrived on time, well protected and with working batteries EXCEPT for the dragon with the marshmallow. He arrived with dead batteries so we ordered a replacement (his price had gone up ten dollars but what can you do when he is the one you think you need and you need him right away?) When we got the replacement dragon creature, his batteries were also already dead! Both went back. Because other reviews said replacing batteries in the dragon didn’t help, we ended up getting a duplicate of one of the other three, it was also by now being offered at a higher price. Thankfully, it arrived in time for the holidays and with working batteries. Don’t know if other people had the same problem with the dragon creature that we did...hopefully not. If it hadn’t been for the holidays, I might have opened him up and tried to replace the batteries but we wanted to give an unopened gift and they come well sealed/packaged. Our grandchildren are learning to record and playback as well as where to push or pull to get reactions. Their parents have told us they still like to play with them. Glad we ordered them early but wish the price hadn’t jumped so high when we needed a replacement. Oh well, still glad we got them as they are still being enjoyed. The original price was great for the ones that worked. Three out of four is still pretty good I guess. The grandchildren’s ages ranged from four to seven.

Absolutely hilarious! Has lasted for years already.

I'm always skeptical about purchasing toys online. Mainly because the quality usually is not worth the money. This toy however exceeded my expectations! It's extremely durable. Especially for my son who is rough with toys. It's also so adorable it's like the boy version on a hatchimal. Definitely worth the money and I'll be order the other monsters to complete the collection! Thank you for this excellent birthday gift!

My son discovered this toy online through a video on (YT) never knew it existed before that but it was created over 5yrs ago. Anyway it is minor loud, it records voices, sings and makes other weird noises, lights up when being played with. It does have a turn off button for peace of mind. Great gift. We had one issue where it was dropped and it seemed to be stuck doing a weird sound but we took batteries out and replaced them and it seems to have recovered.

The toy is cute an made great ! We was even sent extra batteries ... my little boy was so excited an loves the noises he makes. You can also record up to 10 seconds an he says it back in a monster voice !

I purchased 2 of these in December and saved them for my grandson's birthdays end of February and beginning of March. One creature was broken and both had corroded batteries. Neither one worked. I can't return them now. I had two disappointed grandsons. At least the crate they came in and the chains were fun for them.

Santa brought this for our kids for Christmas. It’s mid January now and they still can’t stop playing with it! The burps and growls keep them giggling for hours. The “box” he comes in, and how you have to use a crowbar to open it, is a really fun concept! Keeps the kids busy and giggling for hours! My 2year old even has tea parties with it! So incredibly worth it for the price!! 5 stars

This furry beast came in a locked cage with a padlock and chain. My 3 year old grandson flipped out. He loved it. This thing makes crazy sounds and faces when squeezing him. He also records any sounds or words you say and resays them. It was really cute!! We loved our little disgusting Snort Hog!
