Aptamil Anti-Reflux, 800g

Perfect for our baby. Works wonders for reflux. This was an amazing price for 4 boxes and it expires end of next year so no issues at all. Fully sealed boxes.

Our four week old was having very bad trapped wind and projectile reflux while on Aptamil Advance (pro futura) (he's burp resistant, and struggles/squirms while you try to burp him making it near impossible). He was also speding 3-4 hours a day in discomfort, straining to go to the toilet (4 empty nappies worth of moaning and straining before eventually unloading). This usually happened at night making it impossible to sleep. We decided to try Aptamil anti reflux and it seems to have helped both his reflux and his constipation. Note: This formula is very hard to mix and needs a lot of shaking before you break up all the lumps. It's wise to have a sterilised jam jar to use for the shaking, then decant into your feeding bottle. We also use anti colic bottles from tommi tippee which are a nightmare to clean, and make mixing the formula hard so the jam jar technique makes things easier. On final thing is that this stuff is very thick and occasionally blocks the teet, so you may find you need to remove the block now and then (you know it's blocked because the baby struggles to suckle), so be sure to have cleaned your hands with antibacterial wash before feeding when doing this by hand. This stuff saved our marriage!

It's a really good product. Saved my baby with acid reflux, but after a few buys the price skyrocketed and now you can buy it everywhere with this price.

These, we'll where to begin. I owe amazon my childs life for these honestly. During the first lockdown none of my shops had any, I travelled everywhere in my county, asked friends and family north and south and none. Turns out people had been buying them for tea thinking we were going to be locked away to starve for an entire 30 years or something. Make of that what you will. In desperation I entered my sons milk on here and would you believe by a miracle of god this pack was on here. Just like that my baby was fed. I kid you not I was trying to get my breast milk back, pumping in panic. But amazon you saved the day. What's even better is the stock was kept so well maintained and it was a great price as well. Thank you.

Our baby was suffering with terrible reflux since she was 2 weeks old. We tried everything we could, even a prescription from the GP, which seemed to do nothing. We were about to give up and just accept that this is how things are going to be until we start weaning. I saw this milk by mistake when she was 4 months old, and the reflux had become so bad that you would find more milk on her clothes than in her stomach, and decided to ask the HV about it. Once we started using it, the reflux disappeared! No more milk soaked clothes! Baby is sleeping much better too, since there is no more heartburn from the reflux! I wish the GP would have told me about it, to save my baby from all this.

After being exhausted from 4 months of managing a sicky baby with various doctor's visits and prescriptions (baby gaviscon which caused constipation & hydrolysed milk which didn't help since he doesn't have a lactose intolerance), we took a punt on this. There was instant relief as none of the milk was coming back up and we had a happy baby. He initially gained a bit of weight after starting on this milk too. It might not be the right solution for everybody however we got greater success from making our own decision to change the milk instead of waiting for the GP route to summon a solution that worked.
