So I thought that the Zero water could not be improved upon, but I was wrong. The new Culligan with Zero Water Technology pitcher and filter are superior to the predecessors. First the design of the pitcher, simpler - no small areas where dirt and bacteria grow under the cover and in the nooks and crannies. And the new sliding cover help prevent overfilling and leaks. Smooth surfaces that are easy to clean make the cleaning a wonderfully easy process. And now the filter. I didn't think I would notice anything but I can honestly taste the difference between the old filtered water and the new filtered water. It's definitely tasting like water without a hint of anything bad in the water for you. Never noticed the old filter being "bad" in any way but the additional filtered items definitely affect the taste. I also love that the dissolved solid meter is totally integrated into the pitcher. Not that I can easily read it when I have my hand on the handle, but it's nice that it is measuring constantly. No need to bring out the testing wand anymore. I must say I am now totally converting to only. this type of filter. Not to only get the same filter for our refrigerator water and ice cube maker at work.

This is the perfect let me take that back. This is the best filtered water pitcher I’ve ever used. I’ve used pure Britta so on and so forth by far this is simply the best. You will not be disappointed with this purchase, high-quality perfectly and great tasting filtered water.

UPDATE: I’ve tried to contact customer service twice now with no answer and no reply. I also went online and found hundreds of other users who had the same issue, their filters only lasting a week when the product page claims a month or longer… I seen someone say that they used their old filter which was reading at 45ppm to fill up a bunch of jugs and then use that pre-filtered water to use in their new filter hoping to get at least a month’s worth of use out of the new filter.. nope! They got only five more days worth of use from their new filter using pre-filtered water. I am so incredibly disappointed in this company, and their lack of customer support as well as poor quality items with an awfully high price tag… DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND $35 per week replacing your filters!! I’ll start by saying that I bought this pitcher, which came with a filter, 5 days ago. I set it up as soon as it was delivered two days later. The water tasted better than any water I had ever drank before in my life. So you’re probably wondering why would I rate it only 1 star then? Because for 3 days, and having had to fill this pitcher up only three times since I bought it, the TDS meter is all of a sudden reading 7 and the water now tastes acidic. I filled it this morning, the meter read Zero. I went out to get a glass of water after dinner and the orange light was blinking so I looked and it said 7 on the screen. I thought, that’s odd, it wasn’t doing that during breakfast. Then within a span of 15 minutes, and having not had added any new water to it since this morning, the water tasted super weird, almost like when you were a kid and someone would dare you to stick your tongue on a 9 volt battery. That strange metallic acidic taste. So I came here to see if I needed a new filter and my jaw dropped at the price, which I would’ve been willing to pay maybe once a month but surely not twice or more per week. THE FILTER ONLY LASTED THREE DAYS! I thought I was getting a great quality water filter pitcher that would last and save me money, and now I’m better off buying the gallon jugs of distilled water from the grocery store every week. Absolutely a waste of money. Buyer beware !!

This product filters the water so it tastes great. The filter is slow, so I find myself constantly having to fill it before the jug is actually full. The filter doesn’t last very long.

Greatest water filter I’ve ever used! I bought this to replace my brita as I’ve read online that brita isnt a good filter. The filter passes water through quickly contrary to what some other reviews say.

This is the second fluoride water filter I tried. This is by far the better of the two filters. The first one lasted 5 days and the filter quit. Shaking it did nothing. The water tester was a joke since it never came in contact with the water. The Culligan filter tested the water before using. Tap water = 186 ppm, the refrigerator filter + 164ppm. The Culligan filtered water =0. Easy to fill and use. A great filter.

So here’s the thing: the filtered water using this pitcher is amazing tasting and the pitcher/filter work as expected. But, the filter only lasts about 2-3 weeks! And when it is done, the water immediately smells fishy. It’s gross! I realize this might just be our specific city water, but I’m sharing my own experience. It is not sustainable to have to replace the filters that often at $15 a piece! I probably won’t keep this after my replacement filter run out. Back to Brittas!

The water tastes so much better than my old Brita filter, and now I understand why, TDS does not lie. People complain about changing the filter because it shows yellow light and reading above 6 ppm after just a few days or weeks due to high TDS. You need to check your tap water. Take the meter out of the filter and put it in tap water right from your sink. I just purchased my new Culligan water pitcher, and my light came on after 4 days. I was just about to pack it up and send it back, but then I thought why not test my tap water? How to do this: 1) Pull the meter off of the filter. 2) Pour some tap water directly into a clean rinsed glass. 3) Insert the meter into the tap water. Read the TDS level. 4) Here is where you see what Brita is selling you. Their filter is not cleaning out the solids. These metals are ending up in our body's, where most of them will be expelled, but not all of them?

I come across these by searching on google! Why is it that when you look for a filter that removes flouride ..and a filter as good as this you can't see it in suggested/ recommended?? It's a shame more people dont know about this. I bought this because the usual brand i use stopped doing prime deliveries and they kept running out of stock a few times so thought best for a change and im not disappointed one bit. The taste of this wager is far superior to any bottled water I've had and it's clean and healthy. Im happy that my kids dont have to drink dirty water out the tap as we know it's a big 1st world problem. It does everything I need it to do and it looks stylish! Im just sad I didnt see this sooner. Culligan need to make the point this removes flouride on their box. but that's the only issue I have. Culligan you need to shout it from the roof tops!!!! It's a big deal!!!! Massive selling point!!! I dug around their website to find everything it removes. Ill post it with this message. Besides this it's very easy to use and lasts a long time and doesn't leak. There's a meter that attaches to tell you how clean your water is. But you have to go to the website to understand it better
