The product had defects. No power going into the unit. The manual provided had a different model showing

I bought the coconut grater in 2020. It has performed wonderfully for the purpose of shredding the coconut meat for making coconut oil. I have used it monthly since then. It is fast and easy to use. I highly recommend this grater. The customer service is exceptional. I recently required a replacement part for the grater and the company, DigiOm, went beyond my expectations to ensure I received the correct part. I truly appreciate the after care from this seller. It is very hard to operate. One has to be very careful while handling the Unit. Hold the Coconut very very tight. If not, the Coconut will get out of your hand. That time, the Unit operator has tobe very careful. But when it works, the Unit scrapes Coconut, very well.

I love the machine itself now that I got it working. It was very difficult to figure out the right converter. I had to consult an electrician. The converters are shipped from China and they are not cheap ($35). Converters sold in the USA are for USA appliances to be used when travelling abroad not the other way around. The seller should let the buyer know in advance and/or include the information on the right converter, or better, have the option to buy the converter from the seller. It is much easier for the seller to buy the converter and include it with the appliance. In other words, give the buyer the option to buy it with the appliance. I spent hours looking on the internet and was more confused as to what to buy since power voltage can not exceed 70 per cent of the capacity of the converter. The average person does not know that. In summary, customer service gets a very low mark from me.

For some reason I thought it was a big machine. However it is the size of a blender roughly. Easy to move around and easy to use. Only thing is you have to hold the power button everytime you use. I do believe that is a safety feature to minimize injury. Simply follow the directions given and the machine shreds the coconut beautifully!

I purchased this product not realizing the blade is plastic and wanted to return it. It shipped from Sri Lanka so you will have to pay shipping back if you don’t like the product which cost about $95.00 with USPS from NYC.

I gave it two stars for the aesthetic design. This machine is poorly design mechanically and has several problems that come with. 1. It is marketed here in the US therefore the plug should had been US compatible. One has to purchase a separate adapter. 2. There is a speed control dial, but the switch to operate the blade is on top of the handle itself. This button works while you are pressing down. So, one hand is pressing this button while one hand is holding the coconut over the blade (grater). This is very difficult to do this by one person only. Even at the lowest speed, you need both hands to hold the coconut. Regulars size coconuts are more than 5" in diameter, for a small woman like me would not be able to grip the coconut using only one hand! I lost my grip few times, and my cut protection gloves got caught in the blade and got twisted around almost almost breaking my finger. The coconut went flying around the counter knocking everything on the counter. I will be returning this machine I bought.

This product has a very powerful motor but does not have a safety mechanism to stop if needed as most motors on appliances like this have. If you slip and your hand or fingers get caught since there is no guard and the motor will not stop until you actually turn off manually with the switch. For a kitchen appliance is has no safety features as the whole scrapping part is open!!!!

Plus légère que ce à quoi je m’attendais. Elle est facile d’utilisation et a des niveaux de puissance différents. Il y a même un cache en plastique pour protéger les lames quand on ne l’utilise pas. This is the worse product I've ever buy I get the product damaged since September and can't get a return invoice to return the item

The electric lead is 115cm long and has a UK shaped 3 pin plug but it is not fused. I have cut the supplied plug off and fitted a UK standard fused plug with 3A fuse
