This product feels and looks like real brick. It was too perfect, so I added a khaki mortar to the grout lines and did a little German smear to cover any imperfections. It’s closer to 1/2” thick. I had a window to trim around and it was a booger. But the install was better than adding real brick. I’m so glad I chose this instead of wallpaper.

Great product, looks great

We used these as a backsplash for our kitchen, really transformed the space. Before they were installed, my husband was very skeptical and thought they looked like "Christmas village" fire place brick. I convinced him to trust the process and I won him over, he too likes how they look. They are a little difficult to cut because they are Styrofoam with a hard shell facing, we didn't use power tools because we wanted to control the cutting more precisely (It seemed to cut fine on a table saw, you might just want a blade with small teeth) We ended up using a small hand saw that came with a corse and fine blade, used the corse for cutting the panels, seemed to work fine. The tension created where we placed them no adhesive was needed. However, if you are putting them on a full wall adhesive will be needed because they are a little heavier than one would think. We did chip the brick a little during the cutting, but I just touched up any areas with close colored paint. If you are installing over outlets or light switch, youll need to put spacers behind the outlet due to the thickness of the panels. Satisfied with the look and product. I would purchase these panels again.

This looks nice after you fix blemishes, but it’s basically just styrofoam and crumbles if you need to trim. NOTE: Get quick-dry adhesive. Otherwise it falls off the wall while it’s supposed to be drying.

Looks like real brick but it’s not made to be installed outdoors because it’s basically just compressed styrofoam and not UV rated or weather proof. Not recommend for outdoor installations.

I had searched for a product to cover an overhang under my sunroom. I was looking for stone or brick looking, lightweight panel for the project, I had even looked at mobile home skirting but couldn’t find a realistic looking panel. I ran across the Izodekor during a search, ordered a sample and it was just what I was looking for. The panels are lightweight and easy to work with, the exterior surface has a hard surface and since I was using it outside I painted them as recommended.I’m extremely pleased with the finished look. I installed a frame with metal studs, attached hardibacker cement board and used thin-set mortar to adhere it to the board.

So far these have been super easy to install. There are some gaps but we will just fill them in with mortar or grout when we are done. It will add to the overall appearance. My only concern is if someone runs something into the wall. I guess time will tell. If this works out well I will be using them on my fireplace wall also.

I wanted to give more stars because of the look, the 3-D effect is great and will look right up on the wall, however, the color I ordered does not look like this, what I received is a lot more pink I ordered old castle and I think I received the wrong one. I am artistic and can add some brown to it, but I was a little disappointed in the color, again the product itself seems like it will turn out great.

These panels are great. Super quality, easy to handle. They look real and even feel like bricks. The panels are quite thick and not flimsy. No odour, no plasticky shine on them. We chose the model stone bridge for our dining area, and it looks great. Would definitely recommend and buy them again.

Definitely better than expected. I was very anxious about purchasing, but it’s easy to put up, easy to cut, and the quality is really good. The final effect is exactly what I was going for. I’m not sure how it would look on larger surfaces, as the joins might be more visible (if you pay close attention to detail) but it works perfectly for my small corner.
