Excellent little gadget. Worked out of the box. Important to note that your car has to already have wired Android Auto / Apple Car play. This merely makes it wireless, but it does that seamlessly. Now when I turn on the car, with my phone in my pocket, the car media system picks up my map and my music from my phone without prompting. [Tried in a 2021 Smart Fortwo EQ].

This little wireless adapter allows one to transmit Apple CarPlay directly to the car’s radio system seamlessly. There is virtually no difference on the radio screen and all CarPlay functions and features work perfectly. Set up is very simple and instructions are included. Once set up is initiated the system will automatically connect to your phone in the future. The only issue I have with the device is that I needed a USB extension cable as there was not enough clearance in my car for the device to be mounted flush.

The auto-activation feature makes it super convenient to use this wireless carplay adapter every time I start my car.
