Worth it.
Easy to use and calibrate. I bought a cheaper one and it didn't work at all, whereas this one worked immediately out of the box and was very accurate and easy to read. It also reads temperature which is helpful. It gives good instructions for storage and I like that it can replace the tip. I would say overall it's worth it to spend the money on the better reader than the cheap $8 readers.

Updated review: after a delay, the company did get back to me. They confirmed my previous purchase and shipped a new meter to my home address, no other questions asked._________________________Use four times over 9 months then product simply stopped working.No response from the company for support as they state a 12 month warranty.Would suggest looking for a company that backs their products.

Don’t waste your money
Piece of junk. Calibrated it, used it once, and it seemed fine.Tried using it again and the sensor tip snapped off after barely touching it.Don’t waste your money.

QUIT WORKING AFTER 2 MONTHS! (See update as well.)
UPDATE: After my review was posted, the company did reach out to me and they sent me a full refund for this item. While I still would not recommend the tester, based on it's performance, I do appreciate the good customer service.Very frustrated. Received this product Oct. 30th, didn't start using it until late November/December, used it a total of 15 times. Tried to use it again yesterday and it doesn't work at all. It was showing an error code, but there's no paperwork with a "key" to tell us what that means or how to resolve it. Reading remains 0, regardless of what we do. For the amount we paid for this, we would have hoped it would last a good bit longer than a couple of months. We need it for our food business, and it's really let us down.
