We do not recommend mixing Down To Earth Fish Bone Meal 3-16-0 into water as this fertilizer is too coarse for liquid application. Fish Bone Meal is best used as an in-soil or top-dressed fertilizer. Once in contact with soil bacteria and fungi, it will slowly be broken down and fed to plants. One phosphorus and calcium source you might consider is Seabird Guano 0-11-0. Seabird Guano can be mixed into water, steeped, and then applied directly to plants.
