Kinpthy Inspection Camera 2010P Endoscope with Light, Borescope Camera, USB, Black, Not Water Resistant

I got this to scope a bathroom vent for damage. It works, with fairly clear video from both cameras, although the light could be brighter. However, the plug kept coming out of the phone as I was feeding it through the vent duct, which made using this a bit more difficult than it could have been. I would probably splurge and get a model with a dedicated screen, seems less of a hassle.

I’ve had at least two other “endoscopes” in the past. One required WiFi to my phone and kept dropping the connection. The other had its own screen and memory card but lacked an easy way to get the images to my phone. This camera plugs directly into my usb-c port and immediately turns on. It prompts to open or download the required app which is free. I love the fact that I can adjust the brightness from the control on the camera itself. The reason I am giving it 4 instead of 5 is for two reasons: the image size on my phone doesn’t scale to full screen because it requires the app to use it. Second reason is that my last camera had split screen where I could activate both the end and side cameras at the same time and this one does not. Pros: portable, doesn’t require keeping the unit charged, rigid, great image, ability to take pictures or videos, 2x zoom thru the app, adjustable light brightness, standard accessories (hook, magnet, mirror) plus adapters for micro usb as well as lightening port. Cons: requires app to use, can only view one camera at a time, image doesn’t fit to the screen It would be nice if this camera came with a pouch or a zipper case to store it. The box is small enough and will eventually fall apart.

Great little camera, one thing they don't make clear is how to activate the side camera. You do this by pressing and holding the camera button until it toggles between the two cameras. The light could be a little brighter, but as someone else mentioned, you can zip tie a micro light to it for more light. The obvious drawback is that you can't get into as tight or small areas as you can without it. I haven't had a chance to try any of the 3 additional accessory tips they include: Magnet, hook, and side mirror Also, it would be great if they had included a case to store it and the accessories in

Im happy with the scope but my accessory package was missing. No magnet, no hook etc...
