Yes it's safe for them. That was also a concern for me, but there plastic will not rub on your vinyl floors. I will say to use whatever recommended liquid cleaner that the vinyl manufacturer recommends, since they make whatever is safest to match the finish.

What kind of warranty is offered? Does it cover the mop handle breaking or the spinning mechanism for breaking?

All O-Cedar mops are guaranteed as well as all their products I believe. I’ve broken two mop handles and they’ve sent me new ones free of charge. Just go to their website and submit a claim for a new one. I wish they’d improve their mop handles, they’re pretty flimsy. But I love mine and the spin bucket.

Seems to have different mop handle lengths. Some handles have 2 extensions to increase the length, where others only have one. How to tell?

One of the extensions near the mop end is unmarked. Will extend to about 4 feet when complete.
