Brilliant!
This is an excellent upgrade for any car infotainment system! The unit is incredibly responsive thanks to the Octa-Core processor, and navigating through menus and switching between apps feels smooth and seamless. The display is brilliant, the colours are vibrant and it remains perfectly clear and easy to read even in bright daylight. It comes with 2GB RAM and 64GB ROM, running on a reliable Android OS. & the 7-inch IPS HD screen features a crisp resolution that looks sharp on the dashboard. It is packed with brilliant features, including built-in GPS navigation and also supports wireless CarPlay/Android Auto (which was my main reason to order). It's a fantastic, feature-rich stereo that completely modernises your driving experience and offers amazing value for money! There are some options on the market that are much more expensive, but I'd definitely recommend this one!

Takes some fitting
Putting these lights out in the flowerbeds took about an hour. The spikes go into the soil fairly easily, though hitting a stone meant relocating one entirely because the plastic peg felt like it might snap under pressure. Pushing the cables into the ground to hide them required a trowel. Using the remote control in the evening is straightforward. Pointing it directly at the sensor is required; standing too far back means the signal drops out. The white light option illuminates the patio clearly enough to see the dog running around in the dark. Switching to the coloured settings changes the atmosphere, but the colours are quite stark rather than blending smoothly. Leaving them outside through heavy rain last Tuesday resulted in no water ingress. Setting the timer function works reliably each evening. They turn on when expected and switch off automatically. Hiding the excess cable is tricky in smaller spaces. The connectors are chunky. They do work fine for lighting up the back wall.

Head unit
Bluetooth microphone is very poor quality, people cant hear properly. Its on the wrong side of the unit, too far away from the deriver

An absolute bargain
This is a lot of head unit for the money. With a 7" screen, android os, 2gb ram, Bluetooth (android auto too), 45w outputs for awesome power and sound quality, and a lovely IPS screen, it's very hard to find better for the money. This double din head unit comes with that big clear IPS screen and transformation and older car (in my case a MG) into something more modern and interactive. I had to cut and customise my center console to change from single to double din. I got help with the wiring and I would recommend bringing it to someone who knows what they're doing as I was a bit out of my depth. The instructions are very good but for someone new to this type of thing it was daunting. It has a tonne of outputs and great options for connectivity. Comes with lots of cables too. In use it's really nice. I find it very responsive to touch and the icons are big and easy to use in traffic for example. It really is full featured and I don't even think I have used half of what it's capable of. It's a great head unit and well worth the 120-140 that it regularly is priced at. 10/10

Nice upgrade for an old radio ...
The XTRONS 7" Wireless CarAutoPlay unit has been a pleasant surprise. If you are looking to revitalize an older vehicle and bring its audio system up to date, this is a major upgrade over a standard factory radio. It fits perfectly into a standard Double DIN dash mount and instantly modernizes the interior of the car. Display & Touch Response The standout feature is the 7-inch HD IPS touchscreen. While the specs list 1024 x 600, the image quality is stunning with high contrast and vibrant colors. It is bright enough to remain perfectly visible even on a sunny day. The touch response is fast and fluid, though I found the split-screen function a bit awkward to use on a screen of this size. Performance & Memory Management Running modern Android on 2GB of RAM means multitasking is a bit limited. However, it is very manageable if you are mindful. My advice: keep an eye on background processes and close apps you aren’t using. With 64GB of ROM, there is plenty of space for apps, but I recommend keeping heavy media files (movies, music, photos) on an external drive via the USB-A ports. This keeps the internal storage clear, which helps the system maintain its speed. Audio & Connectivity The sound quality is a noticeable step up from factory equipment. The 4x45W TCB01HQ amplifier is louder and clearer than my original radio, and the built-in DSP allows for much better tuning. • CarPlay & Android Auto: Both connected quickly and functioned flawlessly. • Radio: AM/FM and DAB reception are great, with plenty of presets for traveling. • Wireless: The Dual-Band Wi-Fi (5G) and Bluetooth 5.0 provided stable connections for Mirror Link and AirPlay. Navigation & Features The GPS works great both online and offline (once maps are downloaded). You can easily install your favorite apps like Google Maps or Waze from the Play Store. The unit also supports a backup camera and DVR, which are great safety add-ons, though you’ll need to purchase those separately. Installation The installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic wiring. The unit is well-documented with clear diagrams for the inputs and outputs. Note that for some specific car models, you may still need a custom fascia or a CANbus box for steering wheel controls. Overall Verdict This is a very affordable system that adds massive functionality. I’m giving this five stars primarily because of the incredible HD screen; functionally, the 2GB RAM makes it a four-star performer, but for the price, you really can’t beat the value.

The Brain My Car Was Missing
It has completely transformed my driving experience from "basic" to "high-tech." Why This Head Unit is a Top-Tier Upgrade: Vibrant IPS Display: The screen quality is incredible. Unlike the cheap TFT screens that wash out in the sun, this IPS panel has a wide viewing angle and deep colors. Even with my sunroof open, I can see the maps perfectly. The touch response is as fluid as a modern tablet. Flawless Wireless Connectivity: The Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto is a total luxury. It connects to my phone within 15 seconds of starting the car. No more fumbling with cables every time I hop in for a 5-minute drive. Crystal Clear Audio (DSP): I didn't realize how much my factory speakers were capable of until I used the built-in DSP (Digital Signal Processor). The EQ settings are incredibly granular, allowing me to tune the soundstage perfectly. It sounds like I upgraded my speakers too! Fast & Reliable Performance: With 64GB of storage, I have plenty of room for offline maps and apps. The 2GB of RAM is well-optimized; I can switch between Spotify and Google Maps without any "hiccups" or lag. Stays Cool Under Pressure: I was worried about the unit overheating during long summer road trips, but the aluminum heat sink and cooling system are solid. The unit stays cool to the touch even after hours of navigation. XTRONS Custom UI: The interface is clean, intuitive, and much more "automotive" than a standard stock Android layout. It looks like it belongs in the car, not like a phone glued to the dash. Final Verdict If you want to breathe new life into an older vehicle, this is the way to do it. It’s easy to install, looks factory-fit, and provides every modern convenience you could want. It’s easily the best "bang for your buck" interior upgrade available!

Android lovers - not for IOS lovers
I’m sure it’s great for some. I’d say if your an Apple user or used to a simple head units pioneer ect. then this is way overcomplicated and sluggish. Feature packed but horrible interface.

A lot of stereo for the money
This double din car stereo 'head unit' arrives well packaged and well presented. Inside the box are the stereo, some fixings and a variety of wires for installation. Quality of manufacture is excellent. the screen is large and already has a screen protector applied (with a pull off tab once installed). Now something to note is that you will more than likely have to buy, as I had to, a fascia if you are replacing a non double din stereo and I also had to get the correct wiring loom to convert my vans connection plug to something that connects to the supplied iso connectors. All in all that cost me about the same amount as the stereo. However, my old head unit is 7 years old now and did not have car play and could not access new maps with traffic. This screen is far more responsive and sound quality is really good without blowing my speakers apart. At a voucher price of £124.81 this unit is a bargain, however you will probably need to budget a bit more for compatible wiring harness and fascia unless you are will to chop some wires (I wasn't). Still worth it and having working car play is just fantastic.
