10 Inch Unfinished Solid Beech Wood Bowl

I have been using a wooden chopping bowl that I inherited from my mother. (She died in 1997.). A few months ago I discovered that the bowl has several "worm" holes, and that some sort "wood-eating" creature is boring through it. I treated it with bleach and . then froze it for a few weeks. Now, I don't really want to use it for food prep any more. So, I went online and found this great solid wooden bowl. I LOVE it. Unfortunately, it is a bit too small for the ulu knife that I also bought at the same time. No matter, though, I found another mezzaluna knife that fits just fine in the new bowl. I am very happy with this bowl and plan to buy a second one.

The wood bowl is sturdy and a good size to use for chopping vegetables and herbs.

Bought this bowl to use with my chopping knife. Fits perfectly and has a great weight to it. Exactly what I was looking for.

Great shape, sort of oval. Nice tight even grain. I am painting the outside with acrylic paints and will seal it with clear gloss. The inside will be left natural and oiled for chopping individual salads. The bowl is perfect for this project

I previously ordered a wood bowl that was plastic and had a leather patch over the bottom attached with tacks. I order this bowl for a lot less money and received just what I wanted. Thanks for providing quality merchandize.

Needed a new chopping bowl as wore hole in bottom of old one. Use chopping bowl nearly every day as have lots of veggies and salads. Very pleased with this bowl and looking forward to many years of service.

Really nice bowl, needed the wood conditioner and preservative recommended in instructions. More oval than round, but didn't matter to me. Great chopping bowl, very reasonable price.
