Love it
I am a carpenter and roofer and use a chalk line almost every day. I used to use the red or blue chalk with a Johnson chalk box. I also used the Milwaukee chalk box. Then I purchased the Tajima chalk box. What a difference. I used my first one with blue chalk and liked it so much I bought another and bought the black chalk with it. I love it and everyone I work with like the color. I use it with the Tajima ultra thin line and when you snap the line it looks like you used a pencil to draw a line. Now the black doesn't show up real good on felt paper or ice and water shield but when you are doing layouts for just about anything else it is great.Love the black and will use that as my primary color from now on. Glad I tried it.

Best “chalk”
I use my chalk box almost everyday. I have their chalk box as well and it’s the best I’ve used ( I’ve tried almost all) the chalk is a die and it is amazing to use and easy to see even in wet areas.

Best chalk money can buy for most purposes
The old school guys still using red or blue will definitely appreicate how much easier this is to see. I've used other brand of black chalk but this one is the best. Of course, if you're using your chalk box on felt you won't be able to see the black, so get the Tajima neon green. The only downside to using black chalk is the fact that it doesn't wash off very well but most of the time that doesn't matter.

Best Chalk I have ever used.
I am a professional carpenter. I have come to specialize in Stairs and Layout in the later half of my career and I will us no other chalk or chalk line than Tajima. Their chalk lines/boxes last for years and perform best with their Chalk. I know of a large General Contractor who will not buy any other chalk than Tajima for his employees and forman.

This stuff is amazing. It makes a solid
This stuff is amazing. It makes a solid, bold line that others can't miss. I use this for wall layout on the subfloor, and the marks stay after lots of foot traffic. These marks are permanent, so I would stick with the blue if you want to mark for cabinets / trim.

Tajima Black Chalk
If you have to snap chalk lines to make a living, you absolutely need to get this! Forget about the Reds and the Blues! Guaranteed, once you use the Black, you really will NEVER go back! HIGH visibility under ANY conditions......including semi-dark basements.Semi-permanent. Lines pop like you drew them with a Carpenters pencil!

Great
Great product. I pour concrete and set forms so I need something that will leave a clear mark when I'm ripping boards and marking grade. This does the job.

Bottle was half empty.
When my husband opened the bottle he noticed it was not filled to the top. It was almost half empty.
