Cubase 12 specifically, has introduced something called 'MIDI Remote' which contains mapping for many MIDI Controllers and the ability to manually map controllers with ease. The included software MPC Beats, can launched as its own plugin within Cubase as a VST. This software contains pre-mapping for MPK Mini Plus.
