Absolutely love this self cleaning litter box. I was unsure about this purchase although I was motivated to buy it based on reviews, ease of use, and the discounted price. I was pleasantly surprised. Somewhat intimidated by the instructions initially, I finally got the unit added to our wi-fi and it began working but threw an error code. Checked several things in the unit and read back over the reviews for possible fixes. Figured out that I did not put the cover back on the unit correctly, so the little gray door at the front was not horizontal, but slightly askew, throwing the error. Fixed the cover, reset the unit through the app, and the it began working perfectly. Was afraid after adopting two cat sisters from the shelter that the unit may be too loud for them, as the calico is very skittish, but her sister, a tortie, absolutely loves this box and prefers it to the more tradition standard one. Great product, definitely recommend, just wait for it to go on sale; as it is quite the investment but worth it.

I have tried a lot of different litter box setups and this Fumoi Self Cleaning Litter Box has been by far the best one I have used. I got it recently and it made an immediate difference. It looks clean, it works well, and it has taken almost all the hassle out of daily litter box chores. The size is the first thing that stood out. It is roomy inside and gives my cat plenty of space to move around. The cleaning cycle runs smoothly and separates the waste from the clean litter without any issues. It keeps the box fresh and ready to go throughout the day which is exactly what I needed. The self cleaning feature has been very reliable. The sensors pick up when my cat leaves the box and the cycle starts at the right time. The waste drawer is simple to pull out and empty which saves me time and keeps everything cleaner. The odor control surprised me in a good way. The area around the litter box smells much better than it ever did before. The biggest benefit is how much time and energy it has saved me. I used to scoop multiple times a day and now I barely think about it. My cat had no problem adjusting to it which made the switch easy. It also runs quietly so it never bothers me or the cat. Overall this litter box has made life easier and the space cleaner. It does exactly what it says it will do and does it well. If you want something that takes the work out of litter box maintenance this is a great choice. I definitely recommend it.

I purchased this litter box when I was pregnant so I wasn't handling/scooping cat feces. This litter box was truly a life saver! I have not had any issues with it’s functionality. I originally used it as a manual box because my cat was scared of it when it would clean. (I strongly suggest gradually introducing an automatic litter box to a cat not used to one because we had some issues at first with my cat not wanting to use it). In manual mode you just have to press the "clean" button and it cleans the box. I love love love that this has an app because I was able to manually clean the box while we were on vacation through the app! After she got used to it I changed it to automatic to clean 30 minutes after she uses it. The safety sensor is very sensitive which doesn't make me worry about her getting trapped in the box when it cleans. We change the litter drawer every week on trash day and have not had any issues with it overflowing (we only have 1 cat so may be different with multiples). I like the convenience of just removing the bag and replacing it instead of having to scoop litter! I truly think it helps with the litter box smell in our house compared to a regular litter box. When I change/add litter I wipe down the liner with a Clorox wipe and spray it with pooph odor eliminator. This is a great automatic litter box especially for the price. Would definitely recommend!

We just adopted 2 kittens and decided to get an automatic litter because we were having to clean litter box twice a day. This thing is massive, I believe the kittens are of Norwegian Forest Cat heritage so basically similar to main coon and can get up to 22-25lbs in size. It is quiet when cleaning and make sure to set the time long enough to allow the litter to clump. I was just really curious to see it work and I think only had it for 3mins. For reference I also use a grass litter so a natural clumping litter. It was easy to set up, and has an internal light feature you can set to different colors. We tested the sensor to stop when a cat enters and it’s very responsive and works well. The unit has a scale built in to weight the cats as they enter and tells the how long they are in the litter box. I wish you could assign a name to the cat or have a cat profile within in the app. That would be a nice feature to include a picture, name, maybe even enter in the shot records. Con: one of the mains reasons to purchase unit is to help with the smell. While this helps with keeping the litter clean for the cats, the container down believe doesn’t hide the Oder very well. It does come with a good supply of disposable bags and an odor control block but it doesn’t really help very much. I’m in the process of trying to figure how else to fix this. I have ordered some carbon. Since the unit is located in a bedroom this is a problem.

I’ve had three cats in my lifetime and currently have one at home. I’ve tried several types of litter boxes, and my main pain points have always been: (1) litter spilling when cats come out of the box and needing cleaning every day or two, (2) odor buildup if the box isn’t scooped frequently, even with the covered ones, and (3) difficulty traveling—larger litter boxes helped for 3–4 days but not beyond that. This automatic litter box has solved all of these issues. It self-cleans after every use, so there’s no odor buildup. You don’t need a deep layer of litter since the surface is always fresh. Somehow, no litter gets spilled outside. I was even able to leave home for ~2 weeks with no worries about cleaning. The machine is high quality and very easy to assemble, much easier than I expected. Once set up it’s intuitive to use. It’s also quite responsive: if a cat comes near during cleaning, it immediately pauses. The app was simple to connect via Wi-Fi and reacts instantly. In the app, you can change the LED colors or turn the lighting off, track how many times your cat uses the litter box each day (quite helpful while traveling), switch between automatic and manual cleaning modes, view your cat’s weight (take it with a grain of salt, ours is 13 lb, and the app shows 12–15 lb). Noise level is low during cleaning and no noise at all most time of the day. Our cat is timid so I was at first worried that it gets scared about the machine. But Mochi got curious and knew that this was a new toilet, and quickly switched to use this new one :). Plus, it has good aesthetics and looks like a fancy furniture. Just that the top is quite slippery, our cat tried jumping onto it and got slipped off... Also be mindful that size is large so make sure you have room. Overall, it has been a great upgrade that eliminated the usual litter box hassles and prepares us for the upcoming travels.
