Would this hold up if I used it to glue an emblem to a powder-coated grill?

I would try using a blow dryer/heat gun. Being careful not to over heat. Use a plastic putty type knife or a kitchen spatula to pry it off.

Any suggestions on what to clean my car with before applying the glue on the surface? Just alcohol wipes?

Alcohol wipes should work fine ,wipe off with cotton cloth for any residue from the alcohol wipes

Easy to apply, holds firmly

No special technique required: clean the surface, apply an appropriate amount, and press into place. I used masking tape to hold my emblem while it set. About 30 minutes of working time gives a reasonable window to correct positioning if needed. By the next day, the bond is completely stone-hard.
