Can I used this for the vacuum attachment for my e2?

It fit my e series machine. I am not sure about the e2. You might check with the manufacturer

Can I buy the silver metal hose pipe piece that you’re supposed to remove from the old hose and put on the new hose? I don’t have an old hose. Thx!

I can try to answer. Rainbow vacuums haven't changed much over the years. In most larger cities, there will be a vacuum repair person who has a jumble of old parts because they don't stop fitting. My best guess is to contact Rainbow or find one of these shops.

Is this hose used for a Rainbow 2e (black 2016 model) vacuum to use for the upholstery, stair attachment, or floor attachment using water?

It will not work with the stair attachment, since it has no electrical wiring. It is a longer version that functions the same as the supplied hose to be used with the Floor Brush, Crevice Tool, Dusting & Upholstery Tool.

Is this a powered hose? or non powered?

This is a non-powered attachment hose used for non-electric attachments.
