Top-notch cable!
I now own two of these Anker Prime Thunderbolt 5 cables, and honestly, theyโve been rock solid from day one. One stays connected to my Anker docking station, and the other powers my smart desk mat where I dock my iPhone and AirPods for charging. The speed and power delivery are the real stars here. Charging is fast and consistent, data transfer is incredibly smooth, and everything just works the way premium gear should. No disconnects, no lag, no weird compatibility issues. Just clean, reliable performance every time. And when I do need to move large files from my 4TB external hard drive, transfers are flawless and incredibly fast with this cable. It handles heavy data like itโs nothing. Bottom line: ultra-fast, powerful, and dependable. If you want a future-proof Thunderbolt 5 cable that can handle serious charging, high-speed data, and display support without breaking a sweat, this is an easy recommendation.

Excellent quality and performance T5 cable
Great Thunderbolt 5 Cable: Quality material and build. Delivers the expected data speed on T5 port on MacBook M4max. Anker my go-to brand for chargers and cables and has never failed to satisfy yet..

Nice cable
Long enough for most uses without unnecessary bulk. Supports Thunderbolt 5; however, as importantly for me, supports high-Watt charging as well. Anyone who travels with a Mac and a Thunderbolt device (needs this cable or something like it.

It suits its purpose
1.7 feet isn't a true measurement. The true 0.5 metric isn't perfectly divisible by any fraction of an inch or foot. It is about 20 3/8 inches. Since Thunderbolt 5 operates at high speeds (up to 120GPS), keeping the cable short is necessary to prevent signal degradation. However, for my use as a charging cable, this is overkill. But the minimalist length is perfect for reducing cable clutter and suits my purpose. Despite being braided, the cable is somewhat stiff but still manageable. This degree of insulation is to be expected in such high performance cable, and pairs well with my Anker Prime 250W Charging Station.

Works as expected as Anker almost always does
Working nicely and a lot more flexible than earlier Anker Thunderbolt 3 or 4 cables that didnโt have the woven jacket. Anker stuff almost always just works right out of the box and stays that way, and this cable is no exception in my experience.
