How much wine will one packet make?

six gallon wine batch is the largest I've used it in so far. normally I use it for high gravity mead in a five gallon batches 1 gallon honey 4 gallons water, comes in at 18-21%

how much cider can you make

I have not used this for making cider, but it will make 5-6 gallons of wine from concentrate. Example: mix 10# sugar in about a gallon of hot water to desolve, 10 cans of Old Orchard Frozen Grape Juice Concentrate (thawed to room temp), enough water to bring up to the bottom of the neck on a six gallon Carboy. Add one pack of yeast and a bleeder hose. When heavy foaming stops in a few days, top up the water to the previous level and add an airlock. Wait until you can read newsprint through the container.

My estimated delivery date for this item says its over a month from now. Will it really take that long?

I can't really answer that question without knowing where we would be sending it but I would guess much quicker. We ship same day from 44870 so you can go to the USPS website and check delivery times from there.

Is this yeast sensitive to heat / temperature that is a problem when it is shipped? At the brewing supply store it's refrigerated.

I've used this several times with great success. Never had a problem due to it not being frefrigerated during shipment. I store it in my fridge, when not in use, but it works great every time.
