Does this work to keep dust mites out of clothes in a dresser?

Yes it does. you mix as directed put into a spray bottle spray the drawer bottoms and you are good.Allow at least 1/2 hour to dry. Do not soak. But this is made for carpets. Good Luck.

Does it work on mange mites?

I know there are over 100 varieties of mites. This product helped us. I’m not sure what kind of mites we had. They came out of a crawl space.

So after you apply it says mites will reduce after 4 weeks. For carpeting are you supposed to continue to vacuum? Wouldn't that remove it?

I've been using it for six weeks now and there is improvement. The ideal time is eight weeks. Yes, you are to continue to vacuum and the best result is using a hepa vacuum two to three times a week until they are removed. I hope that was helpful.
