WARN 88700 ProPivot Plow for ProVantage ATV Plow System

Following the instructions provided it was fairly easy to install. Finding the area for the electrical that is dry and connecting to the ignition source was the largest challenge for me. The 500 HO Cam Am had just enough room up front by the radiator cap and aux plug for the hoist hand control. The plug for the hoist hand control is where I plugged in for the ignition circuit. (RED WIRE)

I think this may be a great unit but after I got it it didn't fit my 79805 push tube for my Polaris Ranger Crew, On the web it didn't tell what it did or didn't fit so I took it that it fit all Push Tubes. Returned it to Power Sport Superstore for a refund. At this time they have refunded over $100 less then the $ 356 I paid for it with free postage. They said they deducted the freight it cost to send it to me. It cost me $43.45 to send it back. To be fair I had ordered the Warn 79958 72" blade with this order. I think they took freight cost for both items off. Over all I think the Pro Pivot is good but not the seller (Power Sport Superstore) Update Nov.20:: After some more e-mails to Power Sport and a phone call they did refund me half the $108.31 they charged me for the free postage. Still not right as the Power Pivot weighed 34 lbs and the Warn 79958 plow blade I purchased with that order weighed about 125 lbs.

It showed up on time. I had called warn inquiring if it would fit my Honda pioneer. Was told yes. Wrong. It bolts on to the bush tube, but it would have required grinding carrige bolt heads, fabricating mounts, and welding them to the push tube. Also all of the wiring is short as it seems to be designed more for an atv than utv. I don't feel that it was heavy duty enough for anything more than a light snow. I sent it back and got a refund, minus about $35 in shipping.

Wiring harness is short, contactor went bad after 2 hours use. Has a weak housing. Switch is backwards if you follow there diagram.

Nice little unit. Very strong, is capable of angling the blade while pushing snow, under most circumstances, heavy wet snow being an obvious exception. Only thing is I wish it had more range to angle, that is the limit switches stop it while there is still plenty of room left and i have them adjusted as far out as the bracket will allow. It's not a huge problem and you could always just bypass the switches, but it looses a star for it. If when you get it all wired up and it is moving opposite of the switch just take the switch apart and flip it around. Also leave plenty of slack in the wires between the plow and the ATV, originally I had left just enough but then found when the blade tripped it would often come unplugged.

so far I love it. It has not snowed yet but I am sure that this motor will be great built from 1/4"steel this thing is heavy should help blade dig through the snow , smooth operation will up date when I get snow

Using this on a 2012 Grizzly 700 with a 54" blade. It works exactly as promised. Can even turn it while pushing snow. I never have to get off my atv thanks to this little lifesaver.

I have had this unit for two seasons, Last year it broke within 1 storm and warn sent me a replacement, it did last the rest of the season because I really babied it. this year it broke on the first pass down my driveway. The Bolts just arent strong enough to handle the stress of plowing.

Easy to assemble, wiring colour coded and just snaps together. The control box has to be mounted under the front of the quad not too far from plow (so wires reach) I finally decided to mount the box on the end of my winch (not a Warn) The two long bolts that go into the winch matched the control box mounting lugs so no drilling required, just undo one bolt at a time to mount the box. I have not used it in the snow yet but looks good so far. Pro vantage plow kit mounted on 2003 Honda 350 Fourtrax.

This is the second one I have purchased in 3 years. The first one lasted 1.5 years(1.5 snow plowing seasons). The second one which this review is about lasted from October 2016 to February 2017. I am having no luck trying to get warranty on it. Still trying.
