Excellent fan ticks all the boxes easy to fit fixing holes much job today existing duct

This was a replacement for the original one fitted 5 years earlier and i thought an east swap. However there are two parts and the timer is supposed to slot onto the the motor but the connection is so flimsy it broke whilst I was trying to slot into place. Hugely disappointing and very expensive. Now going to replace the whole unit with a £25 one!

Easy to swap for my old one that die after 16 years. Initially tried smaller one that was quieter but didn't get same air flow suction so I came back to that one, as no window in that bathroom it gets job done perfectly, no steam on mirrors.

This is superb. Wanted to replace a noisy 100mm fan during a bathroom refurb. This 120mm unit extracts loads of air, is very quiet, and also looks neat. Has a 2-minute delay, which is good, so doesn't go on every time you make a quick visit. Plus a humidistat, I now have a 2m square wet room without windows, and when when I'm done, I turn off the light, the atmosphere is back to normal within 2-hours, and the room feels dry and airy. Revised my review from 5 to 4 stars, as the fan failed after 18-months of use. Just wouldn't come on, and the room stayed warm and stuffy. Interestingly, the original fan actually got quieter over time, to the point where I sometimes removed the cover plate to check it was still working. It usually was, until it wasn't. Bought a replacement so easy to swap, four screws and 3 push-in wires. Maybe just unlucky with the original and the replacement may last for 20-years?!? Annoying that the replacement (via Electricals247) had all four plastic clips broken on the cover plate. I could use the original cover instead, but a broken product should not have been dispatched. The rattling in the box was a clue!

Nice and quiet. First one appears to have got clogged up with fluff (like tumble dryer fluff. On closer inspection, due to poor fitment by the workmen. Would recommend and bought again to replace broken one.

I was really keen on getting a humidity based extraction fan for the bathroom. The idea that the fan would stop when the humidity has dropped to an acceptable level was very much more appealing than just a constant drone of a fan 20+ minutes after the last person has left the bathroom. To begin with it worked as advertised, however after a few months we noticed that the fan would only turn on some time after people were done in the bathroom. Having read some more reviews after the fact, it appears that humidity based extractor fans do have a reputation for failing regularly. In the end we swapped it out for the same model minus the humidity sensor.

The property I bought had a bathroom Loovent installed which eventually failed and was replaced with the same. Ten years later a further replacement was necessary. It works well and is reliable and needs occasional cleaning internally. Remember to isolate from the power source before poking around with a vaccum. A ten year life-span seems more than acceptable to my mind so will probably buy a replacement in 2029 if still available and I am still here on earth.
