Does this device measure or work for kicking?

I contacted the manufacturer for more info and got the reply below.
"While they would produce some data, it would not be too accurate since the sensors were made to track punches. However, we will be releasing an update that will allow the sensors to work for kicks as well - that will be coming soon."
I then inquired about a more specific ETA.
"We're in the process of working on it now and hope to have it released within the coming months."
They also specified that the update will be through the app and you should not need any updated hardware, and they have no *kick trackers* product in the works. So you should be able to go ahead and get these and start using them now without having to worry about an additional investment to gain the new functionality, for the foreseeable future.

How do these turn off?

Can two people share these?

Anthony,

You would need to have the app installed on two separate smart phones so that the data could be tracked separately.  Other than that it shouldn't be an issue.
