Some type of plastic. It is a harder plastic, not squishy. My grandson loves them.

The description says: hatchet Fish, Angler Fish, Viper Fish, Glass Squid, Giant Isopod, Gulper Eel and Black Dragonfish. I checked with my deep see expert sons and they concur.

what does the biggest one measure?

The largest is about 3.5 inches (9 cm) long and about 1 inch to 1.5 inches wide. They are all about the same size.

Great and durable!

This toob is unique. Sea animals are available quite easily, but creatures from the abyssal sphere of the ocean world aren't available that easily. The sculpts and the colours of these figures are perfectly done with eerie and enchanting look. And that Giant Isopod and the Glass Squid are asset to any collector. Safari did a marvellous job by introducing this unique and one of its kind toob.
