Ordered the clear version and it didn't come in there normal civivi box. No civivi pouch, no cloth, zero nothing. Only just the knife in a plastic bag with nothing else, just in the usual Amazon paper envelope packaging. Maybe the civivi box got destroyed or lost and repacked in a plastic bag? Probably or something. I'm glad at least I got the knife and it was in excellent condition. Just seems unprofessional being in only a plastic bag without the usual civivi packaging and pouch presentation. Besides that it's an excellent knife. One of my main favorites from civivi. Underrated knife. I see these being resold in an aftermarket website all the time. I don't get why people lose interest in one of the best made civivi knives ever made in civivi history. I won't ever sell these vision fg models. They're one of a kind design. Strong built. Unique reverse tanto blade shape you don't find anywhere else besides one other company that copied this one called the hornet with a crossbar lock and an unproportioned handle but it's in D2 and doesn't even come close to the quality of civivi's version as I had ordered one and it's a big let down. This is my second one to my collection and have a third on its way, would have been the fourth but I lend one to my brother and he treats it like it's nothing special and loses it, careless, never again. Wish they make this in an affordable titanium scale rugged look like the WE Vision R that is extremely expensive that I will eventually obtain. The aftermarket titanium scales on another website just doesn't look right. Besides that, you can't go wrong with this civivi vision fg.

Beautiful knife. Ceramic bearings provide a great action. The lock is also sturdy and simple. Perfect size for EDC.

Absolutely love this Knife worth every penny and then some

I made this purchase to see what the rave was all about based on the design of Demko shark lock. The size is great for EDC in the front pocket taking up no more room than the average knife with it's thickness. The material quality is as expected from the newer designs from Civivi, it is awesome. I have larger than average hands but it has a comfortable grip with no loss in dexterity. The blade sharpness is razor sharp from the factory as all other Civivi knives I've acquired have arrived to me. I even bought the upgraded titanium pocket clip to help elevate the looks of this thing. If you want to see what the design is all about like I did before spending more on a Demko... Then I suggest buying the Civivi Vision FG to try first. You won't be disappointed!

Above average edge retention, easy to sharpen & touch up, good action, strong lock, good slicing geometry. I've used it for cutting meat, vegetable, fruit, kimbap rolls, rope, fishing line, cardboard, plastic & stripping wire. It performed well in all tasks. My only complaint is the gap in the scales that allows blood or other liquids to get between scales & handle. I'm looking into adding a liner to fill the gap.
