I had a slug & snail infestation in my yard but did not want to use any pesticides and there are birds and chickens that frequent my yard so did not want anything toxic. effective for protecting young plants and green shoots from slugs and snails in my garden. Also advertises as pet safe so I am not worried about using these pellets in places my dog might visit. The product does not hold up well in wet conditions making it pretty expensive to use where I live. It starts to mold after getting wet, but I can't tell whether this could damage any plants.
