Quality product
I have a Persian cat and this works perfectly for his coat . He never has mats , and loves it when I comb out his hair . It is so sturdy I even use this comb while blow drying and styling his wet fur. No issues here . Would buy again you are not you were mouthing off to me and saying that you werenโt going to come

fantastic on really dense coats
My cat has a very dense medium length coat with a really generous undercoat, and I've not found a comb or brush that will penetrate it until this one. I like the combination of the coarse and fine ends, and the points of the tines are rounded enough that they don't cause the cat (or dog I suppose!) any discomfort when you are reaching the skin. Unless they're a diva, in which case, they'll complain no matter what. But, this comb gets through all of the layers well, and I'm also able to get right between the few little deep matts and the skin to the use scissors to cut it right off. This allows me to be precise enough, that you can't even see where the hair is missing. Also, the spine of the comb is very comfortable in the hand. The description mentioned a shaped edge, and although I didn't see anything special, I can feel the shaping, and it handles well. It's also well balanced, something I will appreciate if I am doing a longer grooming session. This comb is well worth the price.

Excellent comb at a good price
We use this comb to help groom our Standard poodle who has an extremely heavy and thick coat. This comb is definitely up to the task - lesser instruments can be easily damaged while combing through her thick hair, but this one works like a champ. Even using the fine teeth in her ears or other fur, the comb is very durable and works great. Highly recommended professional-quality tool!

Breaks easily.
Not even a week of use and two teeth came loose. Doesn't have a rounded edge so it's also uncomfortable.

Great to comb out eye boogies
I have a Teddy Bear dog...I needed this comb for her face. However, I found that the brush I was using made it look like she was brushed but after running the large end of this comb thru her hair we found out that she had all kinds of mats. Now we know what the groomer was talking about. I would recommend this comb to have for removing mats, especially under the arms of small dogs.

Expect to lose tines
Good for the most part but the tines/teeth are not very secure. I lost one the very first time I used it and have lost two more since- and itโs only being used at home on my personal dog and only ever after being bathed, dried, and fully brushed out.

Stainless Steel superior to painted plain sterl
No rust like my old flea comb from Petco. Teeth bend paint wears rusts easy. I have 2 small dogs Schnauzer & Pom-A-Poo. Pom-A-Poo's fur very soft . Works well wont rust. If you have a small dog careful not to get the larger size of this type. The teeth wont be fine or small enough

I have 3 cats with very thick and one with long thick hair and this comb works great for finding and getting rid of mats etc.Not the most comfortable to hold but it works wonders.

The only thing that helps me keep my floofy havanese's coat in order!
This little tool is perfect for my girl's unruly coat. My groomer has noticed the difference.

Cat likes it/effective tool
A professional groomer recommended this comb and Iโm glad we took her advice. Our cat has never enjoyed being brushed or combed but for some reason he likes this one and even seems to request it sometimes (by jumping up on his bench and staring meaningfully.) It is very effective in removing loose hair, more so than anything else we have ever tried.

I like the way it feels not too heavy not to light

Good little comb though I only ever use the fine tooth side.

Weak teeth
Comb metal bar is quite sturdy but the teeth of the comb bend quite easily when encountering a small tangle, they also easily bend back. I was expecting stronger teeth for the price of this comb
