Solvite Paste the Wall 5 Roll Sachet Wallpaper Adhesive Ref 1584707

My first time using Paint the Wall Paste. I've been wallpapering since I was 16. I'm 75. Love this technique. Was so easy. Most paper today is peel and stick but I really prefer using wallpaper and paste. I know I'm getting good adhesion. No bubbles and no peeling. The paper has been up about 6 months now. Very satisfied.

This makes a lot of paste. Very easy to work with. Strong bond to the wall and does not shrink. Used it to hang a 14X8 wall paper mural.

This was my first time using paste the wall paste. It worked exactly as stated and I had quite a bit left over. It was used on a bathroom.

My mutual turned out great! I only did one accent wall in a 11x12 room. My friend mixed the entire package. It was enough to do the remainder of three walls. Hint if you want to make sure adhesive has taken I waited 3 days and and spots where my friend used less paste we had to touch up that area ( product kept well for 1 week tied in a plastic bag in a cool environment]. It works.

This is the best wallpaper paste I’ve ever used. It doesn’t look like much but it doesn’t take much and it holds very well!

Excellent product! I am handy, but this was my first paste-the-wall project. All went very well! I only mixed half the package, as that's all I needed. I used a paint brush.

Fully prepped the wall for a mural prior to using this paste, even applying a wallpaper primer to the wall. Problems began immediately when mixing this powder with water. As other reviewers mentioned, it formed a lumpy paste and no amount of mixing could eliminate the lumps. Nevertheless, I pasted the wall in sections for my 9 panel wall mural working one section at a time, picking out the lumps of paste on the wall. When placing the paper on the wall, you only have a few seconds to adjust/slide the paper as it seems to stick very quickly. That gave me some assurance that this would have holding power. But within a month, the first panel started to lift. I chalked it up to being the first panel and I may have not have worked quickly enough so I carefully pulled it off and re-prepped the wall and repasted using a thicker application of the paste, working very quickly. Three months later, all 9 panels are bubbling and lifting off the wall. Complete fail. My other wallpaper projects using pre-pasted paper or paste-the-wall (using a different brand of ready mixed paste) are still adhered after many years. Will be stripping this entire mural off and start over with a different paste.

Excellent paste, super easy to mix. I used this with a heavy textured paper in the kitchen, pasting the wall as I went along. Don't overload your brush or roller but do ensure you put enough on to cover the entire area. *Also check your wallpaper states paste the wall on it. The paste spread well and the paper was easily adjusted into place. Less mess, less stickiness than the traditional paste the paper format.

Came within 24 hours. Very easy to mix and can use within 5 mins. Package says it hangs up to 5 double rolls, but we were easily able to hang 6 double rolls with enough left to hang another. Recommended!
