Will this work for a canon r7 ?

Dear Friend, Thanks for your inquiry. Please kindly note that they are not compatible. Sincerely, SmallRig Customer Service

One of my main questions still. hasn't been answered and I'm someone with over 20 years on a Panaflex camera. How to make the camera fit like glove??

Hi, Thank you for interesting in SmallRig. This cage is dedicated designed for Sony ZV-E10, and it's fully formfitting for the camera, and not block any access of the camera. It fixes the camera via a 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom and further with an included anti-deflection lock to prevent twisting. If you have feedback or further question, please feel free to contact SmallRig Customer Service Center by e-mail(smallrig@smallrig.com) Sincerely, SmallRig Customer Service Center
