The simple things matter
This book isn’t extraordinary, but it is a good reminder of the steps, habits and mindset you should get into to become a successful person, and have a leadership mindset. I wont spoil anything else. If your asking is it worth buying? Yes and no, it depends on your priority and if you have the luxury to buy a book that is simple enough. If your asking the price is fair, then yes it is.

Great book
So I wanted to get this book as I start out on my professional career. I have big aspirations and one thing that stood out when I had a meeting with the CEO at a $17billion company, he said "one of the reasons I got here was, well, I just had it in my head that I could run a company like this." Because of that I found this book and decided that these pointers could help line things up for me.The book is great. The author is witty and short, hilarious in my opinion, but his recommendations are black and white and some might surprise you. I've already tried to devote more time to free thinking and strategizing my role, which I do believe will help in the future. I will definitely keep this book and refer to it every now and then

What it takes
This book is concise set of rules to do exactly what it promises.I got the sense from some of the more negative reviews here that the book would be too overbearing and preachy. This book tells you what to do to develop the mindset of success, point blank. If you take offense or think that following its advice would be disruptive to your way of life, then rising to the top of an organization probably isn't your thing. If, however, you are committed to this goal, you will find yourself nodding in agreement on every page.If you're not sure where you stand, you'll know by the end of this book.

Keep it where you can review it in down moments
When I orignially read through this book I thought it was rather disappointing. The author seemed to be breaking the tough work of becoming a CEO down into simple rules, and that is generally not possible. However now that I've left the book lying around my house my opinion has changed. The ability to pick up the book and get good advice in a page or two is excellent. The advice is sound and very specific. For example, Fox suggests a specific way of handling a character assasin that turns the assasin's words back onto himself or herself.I often think of these specific pieces of advice when I'm deciding what to do next in my day or on a road trip.Overall, an excellent guide!

One disk will not play.
One disk will not play for me. Not worth the money or trouble to try to return. Didn't contact the seller. They shipped promptly, no issues with them. Disk does not appear to be damaged and packaging was fine. Received in new condition. Must be a manufacturing problem. Just posting this in case others have the same issue. I have not listened to content yet.

The first book to read on the climb
"How to become CEO" should be mandatory reading for anyone considering climbing to the top. I agree with almost all recommendations in this book. That is why, I must have given at least 20 copies as a present. The best part is; you can go back and read the chapters randomly once in a while to refresh the basic rules. I have also read the other books of the author, liked most, but this one is by far my favorite.
