We are tea lovers and bought these as an alternative to using a tea ball or metal infuser for very fine varieties. It keeps out the very small tea leaves which flow through the fine mesh strainers we normally use. I appreciate that the bag is not bleached and full of chemicals and therefore imparts no flavor to the brewed cup. The drawstring is strong. I was afraid of breaking the string when I first used them, but now I pull them really tight (to prevent the leaves from coming-out the top) and have not broken a single one. The tag at the end can be a little long and sloppy when it gets wet, but that is not a detraction from the final brew, so overall a solid product! Convenient for travel, I just pre-pack the amount of tea bags I want to have for my trip. Hubby and I liked them so much we have them on subscription now. The color of the box is not black as shown but a tan color in case someone wonders if they received the correct product.

These are great tea bags. The string is very strong; I have never had one break. And the closure is very secure and holds all the tea leaves inside so I don't find pieces of tea floating in my drink. I fix a large thermos of tea each morning to take to work, and even though the thermos has a removable filter, I usually use these bags instead. That way, I don't have to remove a filter and clean it at work. I can just remove the tea bag and drop it in the trash bin.

Pretty good quality tea bags! No staples at all, so you can recycle/compost to your hearts content! No bag splitting or tearing, but then again I’m not an aggressive squeezer, haha! I didn’t notice in the product description or on the product images, but the picto-graphic instructions on the box show using this filter bag for a small POT of tea, not a single mug, which is how I intended to use them. When I first took one out of the box I was shocked! But when I compared it to the filter bags I had been using from David’s Tea, these were only slightly larger; very comparable in size. The hang tag is obnoxiously large for use with smaller mugs or travel cups, but you could definately snip it in half and it would be fine.

I brew Uruguayan yerba mate, which tends to be extremely powdery. While the traditional bombilla method works well, it can get messy. These teabags make the process effortless—no sediment slips through, and the drawstring is impressively secure. They’ve completely streamlined my routine. Highly recommended.

I use these teabags all the time. They are sturdy and allow for quality steeping. I appreciate a bag that isn’t bleached, and can hold a large amount of tea, if you want to go there.

The tag is a bit long, seemingly wasteful, but the tea bags themselves are large and sturdy. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I chose this because of the size and I wanted a bag with a paper tag to add a custom label to.

Sturdy tea bags. They do not fall apart even when left in the water for a long time. I find there is no taste contamination of the tea.

The drawstring makes this a must buy. Durable and the perfect size for a cup or a whole pot of tea. Doesn't leave a taste either.
