Absolutely love these for freezing foods. I had some smaller ones I got years ago and we use them all the time. We needed some bigger ones to replace the deli style containers that were coming apart after a few years. These work just as well as the smaller ones. They don't get brittle when frozen so they don't break like other plastic containers we've frozen in.

The Glad Freezer Food Storage Containers are very good for left overs or if I cook more I can freeze some for later.

Yes, I know most material becomes brittle when frozen, however, as storage containers designed for freezer use it would be nice if they used a plastic that maintained a bit more flexibility at freezer temperatures. They work great overall, but the main problem I’ve had with them is they crack pretty easily when removed from the freezer. Aside from that they work exactly as expected and I’ll keep buying them until a better option comes along at a similar price.

Thick quality disposable .... Been searching for replacements of GLAD 's regular, clear ones, but no luck with this particular slim lid, no tabs .... So 'freezer' blue will have to do My salad bowl, hands down ... Size for ONE ... A meal Use these for leftovers too ... Snap a lid, then straight into refrigerator of freezer ... NOT liquid tight, but they do a great job of stopping soups from spilling out CON: these have a "lifted circle" in the bottom, protruding into my food .... Can't scrape it clean, nor spoon out because of this 'raised' area ... I know why it's there (helps freeze food in the bottom, because of air circulation) Until GLAD brings back the older version of regular, clear plain, refrigerator type, I will be using the blue freezer rectangular bowls .

I used these to freeze some leftover potato filling from Christmas and it stayed fresh two months later! Easy to defrost in refrigerator too.

So far they seem to be very good. Lids are nice and tight. Haven't seen any cracks or anything so far in the ones I have in the freezer. If I need more in the future, I'll pick some up for sure.

I like the Glad freezer containers because you can seal up your food and place it straight into the freezer. The other thing like it that you can re-use them again.

These are lasting so well.
