Emotion Stealth Kayaks

If you're contemplating getting a Kayak get the Emotion Stealth Angler or the Emotion Temptation which has the same hull specifications, except the Temptation doesn't come with the fishing perks. I promise you will not be disappointed. I had a few other Kayak options in mind, but after extensive research I am glad I went with this beauty. First time out on the water was just pure joy. The 10 footer tracked excellent and stability was top notch Well done Emotion! Another seller was Emotion is based here in the USA, and has a reputable reputation for making top notch kayaks. Plus you cannot beat the price and the free shipping that Amazon offers on these kayaks it's just awesome. If you don't believe me about this kayak do a Google search and you will even see that in 2009 it won Recreational Kayak of the Year Award, as well as Paddler's Pick and Outside Gear of the Year.

I bought this kayak 2 years ago and used it maybe 4 times (I have a larger boat that I primarily use). This kayak is perfect for lakes and rivers, which is the primary reason why I bought it. It has a lot of great features and is very stable. It is a sit-on-top type of kayak made of UV protected linear polyethylene plastic. The sit-on-top makes it much more comfortable than the sit-in kayaks. At the rear of the kayak, there is a cargo net lacing to secure bags, tackle boxes, or whatever you’re carrying with you. In the front, there is a tank well with cover to store fish or to store other items. There is one Scotty rod holder in the center with two flush mount rod holders behind the seat. It also has a convenient cup holder near the front seat. The seat can be folded down when not in use and there are grab handles on all sides of the kayak for easy loading & unloading. There are several foot wells, which makes the day on the water much more enjoyable.

Kayak just arrived and looks great, EXCEPT picture clearly shows a seat to sit on as well as a seat back. It did not come with any type of padded seat. Looking at a $49 gel seat, which I am sure will be 100% better than what would have shipped....but just an FYI you may want to budget in a seat pad for any extended usage.Otherwise seems to be higher quality than some of the entry level yaks I looked at in the stores. Expect a 5 star rating once I've used it a few times.

Purchased two Stealth Kayaks and could not be happier with the quality, features and on water performance! Well worth the money!
