AGPTEK 96GB MP3 Player with Bluetooth and WiFi, T08X 4'' Android 14 MP4 Music Player with Spotify, Audible, APP Store, Up to 1TB, Black

Had a few problems since Operating Manual was Written for use by tech geniuses, which I am not. I only bought this MP3 player for listening to Audible Books, other than checking the time I do not use any other functions. I wanted something relatively inexpensive to use while working outside and didn't want to risk my Cell. Once I worked out the kinks it is great. If you are like me I would recommend getting a teenager to explain how to use it.

I’ve been using the AGPTEK T08X in my car with Bluetooth, and so far I’m very impressed. The Bluetooth connection has been stable with no noticeable interruptions, and the sound quality has been good. I used it for about 9 hours starting from a full charge, and the battery was still around 50% afterward. That’s very good battery life for my use. So far, it’s exactly what I was looking for: simple, reliable, and great for listening to music in the car without using my phone. I’ll update my review after using it for a longer period, but my first experience has been excellent.

I had high hopes for this little device. The software was on a slow side, but it was functional and I was able to get it set up the way I wanted. It was exactly the size I wanted. Then after 2 months, the divice completely died. I've tried different chargers, and have had no luck bringing it back to life. Good thing it was only $60, but it's still $60 wasted. Do not recommend. Pick up something from Fii0 or Hiby instead.

I'm impressed. They market it as an mp3 player, but I have discovered that because it's an Android, this thing has turned out to be a tiny little Android tablet. And it works really well for that. I downloaded Galaxy Shooter Space Attack just to see how it would run, and ended up playing it for hours. The verdict is that it loads quickly and runs smoothly with no glitches or freezing. It's actually the smoothest tablet I've ever had. It's missing a camera, of course, so it's not quite a real tablet in that sense. It even auto-rotates. This thing can almost be more useful as a tiny little tablet than a music player. Just be aware that whenever you have wifi turned on, you're going to have to charge it a lot. And it gets pretty warm. My four star rating is because I really feel that AGPTEK should include their own proprietary mp3 player app, which they have on their cheaper devices. It's hard to find an app on Play Store that automatically advances to the next folder after completing the last one. Their cheaper players do that. Battery life is ok but not great, and it's critical that you shut off wifi, because if that's on, this thing runs it's battery down fast. Make sure you plug good headphones into it, not the cheap ones it comes with. Down with blue tooth, VIVA LA WIRED CONNECTION! (Because it sounds a little better. That rule goes in the car too. Audiophile secret!)

Works pretty good and happy with product. Only complaint is with wireless Bluetooth headphones it does cut out momentarily when even slightly moving my head even though this mp3 player is close to me in my front pocket. Not sure if it's the mp3 or headphones are the issue.

Update! After a lot of perseverance, and with the help of a thin-bladed knife, I was able to move whatever was blocking the sd card from being inserted, and the unit is at least functional again, so I've upgraded it to three stars. I'm not sure whether I can trust being able to remove the sd card again if I want to update my music. So far, I haven't been able to find an app that would let me plug this directly into my Mac, and treat it as an external drive, so removing the sd card, plugging it into my computer, editing the contents, then returning it to the player is the only way to update the contents. If you want to listen to both music and podcasts, I recommend downloading separate apps for each, as the included app co-mingles the two. I like to play music on shuffle, and don't particularly want a podcast sprinkled in with the music! ********************** This lasted about 6 weeks - just long enough to get beyond the date when it could be returned. It was problematic from the start - the Android implementation is pretty weird, and it often took several tries to get it to play what I wanted to hear. Final straw: today I removed the sd card to add some items, and now it won't go back into the player. Works in other sd card receptacles, but something seems to have moved in the unit so it does not allow the card to go all the way in (and yes, I did have it oriented properly!). Without the sd card, this is pretty much useless!

I really like this. I got this for (hear me out) my dog. He's got a lot of anxiety and likes music so it's perfect for him. I needed to be able to have it playing through the Blu tooth when I leave and when I'm working from home and it does exactly that, for hours. The battery has been lasting about a day and a half with it playing almost all the time. I put on YouTube and Pandora and added hours of music to the device itself and it works great. I'm a millennial so I remember earlier gen tech and how to use it, which is obviously what this is, so if you're not expecting this to be the latest Iphone technology then this is a great purchase, and don't listen to gen Z's bad reviews. let it die completely the first time, charge it up all the way, then let it die all the way again, then use battery saver mode from there. Use this to it's ability and you'll be fine. Sign into Google through explorer then you'll be able to do the Play store, update the apps you need and delete everything else, don't try to download and update more than 1 thing at a time ect ect

Bought in October for my son's birthday and it lasted until the end of March. Gave it two stars as during that time it worked good. But now all of a sudden it won't charge, it just power cycles constantly. Needless to say my son is super upset. HELP AGPTEK!
