Seit dem Point9 Boblbee übernommen hat wurde leider an der Qualität gespart, vor der Übernahme waren die Materialien doch deutlich hochwertiger allerdings auch etwas schwerer. (Plastik statt Metallteile, durchgefärbtes leichteres Plastik statt hochwertigem Formteil mit echter Lackierung.) Für alle die nie die guten alten Zeiten erlebt haben sicher kein Problem, für alle die ihren in die Jahre gekommenen Boblbee ersetzen möchten eine kleine Enttäuschung.

I ride every day to work and back and since owning this my laptop and docs are all nice and dry. The storage inside is adequate and they do sell an additional pocket inside. If you carry very small items they can drop out the compartment into no-man's land e.g. a pen lid would easily go missing. I now feel a bit exposed when I ride without the bag but to be honest I really have my doubts on how well this would protect in the event of a slide or impact to the back. For instance the hard plastic shell could potentially be pushed past the section in contact with your back and I could easily believe that it would cause you some damage around your shoulder blades if the plastic flexed at the time of impact. That said, it's well made and I like the bag on the whole. I just feel motorbike bags for commuters are somewhat limited and only this company seems to be tackling the issues properly. I'd say they are the best at the moment. steer clear of targus etc. their waterproofing is light years away from boblbee.

Excellent backpack for travel or everyday use. Has a separate compartment for laptops/tablets. Clip to attach keys to inside. Very extensible on the outside with extra bags. The small pockets on the laptop/tablet divider aren't that useful though. The molded-side is very comfortable and contains a back-protector.
