This waterproofing spray worked like a dream. My soft material shoes took two coats, and wick most things away.

seems to work good, it didn't change the feel of the velour. I can't speak to the stain resistance as I haven't had a spill yet.

I was honestly very sceptical of this product. I've seen the ads multiple times but thought it was complete BS. I also OCD so having dog hair on my couch from 3 Rottweilers makes me absolutely nuts. I got this spray hoping it'd make cleaning my couch much easier. I tried it on a pair of my daughters Converse shoes first as I'd rather ruin those than my couch. I sprayed the shoes as directed & then let them sit for 24 hours. To my surprise the outside of the shoes were completely water resistant & there was absolutely no smell or discoloration to the white part of the shoes. I'm a believer now & will be using this for my couch as well. In fact I'll be buying more to have on hand for new shoes or clothes I'd like to keep protected. I'll probably spray my car seats as well. This product is amazing

Half way through the use the nozzle stopped working. I had to use cotton in the remaining portion. The whole bottle covered only one square meter!

I sprayed all of my chair fabrics as int instructed with two coats and let dry for 24 hours. The fabric with a small application of water immediately soaked up the water. No barrier at all. Now bought some Scotchgard and that worked like a charm, water immediately beaded up.

I just wish it came in aerosol. The ONLY criticism. I am getting ready for a family reunion this coming weekend. I am using my hand stiched table clothes. We are southern so BBQ , beans, sweet tea, red & oily stuff. I wanted to protect my work ...I tested product on a napkin. IT WORKED! I just ordered 3 more so I can get the rest of the hand made table cloths protected by Saturday morning ! Thank you for having truth in advertising!

I just used this yesterday so I have not tested the effectiveness. But, as part of the application you are supposed to wipe the treated area with a dampened cloth. The spray beaded up on top of the treated area so something is happening there. The only gripe is that the spray mechanism is diabolical to figure out. There is a spacer collar to remove before it will pump correctly, once done it is easy to use. The small bottle was enough, probably more than enough to coat the carpets in a Chevy Bolt. You would need two to do the seats or a larger bottle.

Kind of pricey for what it is, but totally worth it and works great!!! Water does absorb after some time or if u work it in manually. But does work great as shown in picture. I tested fabric and it fully absorbed water before I did this treatment.

The product seems to work well, however be aware that you will need to apply 2 coats. I purchased 3, 250ml bottles totalling $100. I'll need to spend another $300 to finish spraying my sofa, including a second coat. It says you should apply twice a year, so it will be a $600 per year investment. I'm not sure that I'm willing to do that. Each bottle covers approx 7 sqft, so double the sqft coverage you need (for 2 coats) and estimate your costs first.
