YES! DOESNT LOCK INTO PLACE! Worthless!

Is the size of the other end of the adpter (i.e. not the camera connected end) always the same for with T2 adapters?

The T-mount lens mount is a male 42mm .75mm thread pitch screw mount with a 55mm flange focal distance. It was introduced by Tamron, hence "T" mount, about 1957. Other manufacturers used the standard. Soligor called theirs the "T2" mount. As far as I know all "T-mount" lenses fit all properly made "T-Mount adapters". After around 1962 the standard was changed to a conical thread, but I've never found a T-mount lens that didn't fit any T-mount camera or T-mount adapter that I had.

Will this fit rebel t3 to adapt to samsung 50-200mm lens?

The purpose of this particular adapter is to connect a T-mount (a 42mm .74mm pitch thread screw mount with a 55mm flange focal distance) manual lens to a Canon EOS camera. I am unaware that Samsung ever made their 50-200mm lens in a T-mount version but if they did it will work.
