I passed the bar because of these!
I am certain these flashcards are what got me such a high score on the MBE. The Barbri outlines totally overwhelmed me because they were so long and detailed. These flashcards provide you with the most important stuff you need to know, in a succinct and clear way. I watched the Barbri videos and did all of Barbri's practice questions, and only used the flashcards to memorize the material. I reviewed one to two subjects a day. The app is great because you can create quizzes with the flashcards, which makes learning more interesting and fun in my opinion. I also recommend getting Emanuel's real MBE questions for extra practice, as Barbri's multiple choice questions tend to not accurately reflect what real MBE questions are like.

Essential for Bar Prep
These cards are awesome. They are in Outline Format, so study them in order because each topic is presented in a very well-organized fashion. I love them because they cover so much of what's tested on the MBE portion. For things I encounter in my Multiple Choice Practice Question Explanations, I'm taking additional notes. These cards are the backbone, though, so they are saving me a lot of time. I am also supplementing them with my homemade, state-specific Rules of Law, but my supplemental stuff is organized around these very succinct and clear flashcards. Best of all, the rules in the state's model answers are stated in a fashion very similar to the rules listed on these cards, so if you learn these cards you're halfway home to memorizing what you'll have to write in the essay portion. These cards are a must-have. You will still have to do a lot of work, but it's going to be a lot more logical and do-able because you'll already have the Critical Pass Flashcards foundation embedded in your study materials and, eventually, your brain.

Pretty Good!
These flashcards are pretty legit - I have been using them in conjunction with the BarMax iPad app (which has its own app-based flashcards). Together, the two are comprehensive. If I had to choose between the two - BarMax's flashcard app and Critical Pass's real life flashcards - I would choose Critical Pass b/c they seem to offer more comprehensive coverage of the 6 MBE subjects than the BarMax flashcards do. The way I have been using the flashcards is as follows: After listening to the lecture for an MBE subject, I will look over the flashcards with my outline for the subject open in front of me on my laptop and the BarMax flashcard app open on my iPad. I compare and contrast, learning as I go, and add notes to the Critical Pass flashcards where I think more info./explanation than provided is necessary. This is somewhat tedious/time consuming, but it seems to be helping a lot with my MBE scores. Over all, I would recommend this flashcards highly - whether for first time bar takers or repeaters. My only two suggestions are (1) that a few more of the blank flashcards be added for each of the six MBE subjects (maybe 8 or 9 instead of 5), and (2) that synonyms for important words/phrases/names of tests & standards be added to the flashcards. There are a few flashcards that I have come across where the title or name used for a topic is much different than the one I am used to or that BarMax uses. I know that there are always going to be variations in terminology, but this can be really confusing - especially for the MBE - so at least having the several most important names by which something is commonly identified would be really helpful (esp. in Real Property!!!). Good luck studying!

Works pretty good! But can be improved. Still worth buying!
I hardly make Amazon reviews but I feel I should give this item a review since it is helping me (so far) with memorizing a lot of things for the bar. If you are at a time crunch (like me) who don’t have the time to make your own index cards, these definitely do help save the day. The content of these cards match the barbri review around a good 80%. However, I would not depend solely upon it without a bar review program. These cards does not provide full explanation of each subject. To fully use these cards you have to be at least somewhat familiar with the subject and understand it. I recommend reviewing a good outline/lecture and supplement any missing info onto the cards with a colored pen/highlighter. That’s why these cards come with space on the side for you to add notes on. In some extensive subject like Constitutional Law/Civil Procedure, the cards do miss a few info that may appear on the bar exam. The cards came with 4-5 empty cards for each subject that are color coordinated. These help a lot. I do wish they provided more empty cards that are color coordinated with each subject since sometimes it’s just not enough. And there are many things I want to supplement for each subject. Other than that... these cards and your own supplement notes on these cards, will definitely help with memorization purposes! Or at least it helped me with mine. Also, although these subjects are labeled MBE... if you write your rules on the empty cards in paragraph forms, they will help you on the MEE as well. I believe that the content in these cards and my own notes can help increase my chance with passing both. Hope this helps!

Comprehensive and Simple
These flashcards were my secret weapon for the bar exam. While I do not recommend focusing more on one subject over another, these flashcards helped immensely with the MBE, but also with the essay portion. These cards work as both an outline and flashcards because they are pretty dense in terms of material. You could literally not watch the BarBri or Themis videos on these subjects and know what you need to know for the bar with just these. I would also buy real MBE questions and not rely solely on BarBri questions. You can write tips from these actual MBEs into the margins of the cards for the small areas that are not covered on the flashcards. I bought mine used and they did not come with the new CivPro questions. These CivPro cards are worth not buying them used if they are not included. Critical Pass no longer sells just the CivPro cards to make you buy the new ones.

Order from their site with USPS free priority
I haven't received my own order of these cards yet, but my friends who made the right decision to google and see if there was a discount, have received theirs. If you "like" critical pass on facebook, they give you a discount code that will give you free shipping. Plus the cost for the actual cards is $10 less than here on amazon. I foolishly used amazon believing that it would arrive sooner via fedex and though this reputable website than direct through the company. Nope. Mine are not scheduled to arrive for a few more days. Go direct through critical pass. Having used the cards, they are very helpful. The reality of bar prep is that there just isn't enough time to write flash cards for every single rule and black letter law. That time is best served practicing MBEs, or essays, or something else. I personally learn very well from writing out my flashcards, but these cards let me fill in info that will help me remember the elements. For example, I'll give myself a reminder from an MBE I got wrong. Get these cards.

Great cards
Write some of your state distinctions on the right hand side of the cards. Study the cards some throughout the study period. Then, the week before the exam, pull out about 10 cards from each subject (that cover the subtopics you are weakest on) and go through them continuously. Very helpful for fed M.C. and state essays. Sometimes during bar review, you might have the tendency to get bogged down in detail. These cards help you organize and simplify these subjects (while still providing a surprising amount of detail). By the way, a good tip for your bar review courses: one of the instructors recommended watching every video 3x if possible. I would add to this, listen to the most helpful lectures (Contracts, Property, etc.) every night as you go to sleep. Literally, every night (and while you drive). Good luck.

Lost access to the application that supports studying
The app access should be granted one year from first access and not purchase. Now that I have purchased my cards over a year before taking the bar exam, I am unable to unlock additional study support and have been instructed to pay an additional sum for it. Considering the past years, it would be great to have these times extended or this policy modified.
