Great solution for converting 3 phase equipment to single phase
Actually purchased two (different) versions of this unit, the second was for a smaller motor. Our mill had two different motors (one for the head and one for a table drive). Using these converters we were able to maintain all of the original switched (two speeds plus reversing) without having to do a lot of (to me) complicated rewiring. Just be sure to buy the right size for your (or each) motor!

Its very simple fix to run a 3 phase motor on single phase power.
This works as described. It allows me to run my 3 phase electric lift table on single phase power. No complains

It works as described, but not a fit for me
The unit performed as described. Though I tried to use it on a Dough Laminator with a 3 phase motor. So many start/stops. It worked but it was slow starting, once the motor was running it was fine, but the start was wonky. If I had a motor that was just running a fan or something I would consider this, but since it start and stops often its not a fit. At times It would take a few seconds for the motor to come up to speed and and many times it would only run about 1/2 speed tripping the breaker on the motor, If I stopped and started again, the second time the motor would get up to speed. Understanding that it simulates the 3rd phase, and once the motor is running it drops it. Because of that it didn't work for me.
