Xtreme Comforts Wedge Pillows

I have serious sleep apnea and a deviated septum which means I can only breathe through one nostril and if I lay too flat I can't breathe at all. I use the 7" Bed Wedge under my Xtreme Comforts Pillow and now I experience the most comfortable, smooth breathing, deep sleep I've ever had since I was a child. No choking, gasping for breath, or snoring, no dry mouth or sinus discomfort. Thank you for the best night's sleep I've ever had. I've tried many other bed wedges, bolster rolls, memory foam neck pillows and back rests and NONE of them helped; either too firm, too soft, or angle is too steep an incline, etc. Your 7" Bed Wedge is Perfection!!!

This is the second wedge I've purchased and the first with memory foam. This one puts the other one to shame. I chose the 7 inch height so I could use this wedge along with the other when I wanted to watch TV while lying in bed. What I didn't expect was for it to be so comfortable for sleep that I no longer use pillows, just this 7 inch wedge. I tend to snore and have acid reflux. Since using this wedge for the last couple of weeks, not only am I sleeping better, but the acid reflux has become less of an issue. I never bought this one with the intention of using it for sleep, as I thought it would be too low to do any good. I was wrong! I found the height to be ideal. The other wedge was 12 inches high and was just too uncomfortable for sleep, so I only used it when I had severe colds. I'm glad I tried it for sleep and will continue to do so. I'm sleeping better with less interruption than when I used a pillow. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I’ve waited awhile to post this review to give it a really good chance. I purchased this at 30 weeks pregnant because I was suffering from horrible reflux. I love that it is topped with memory foam - it makes it much more comfortable than other wedge pillows I have slept on. At first it worked great and was big enough to hold my body correctly. As my pregnancy progressed, so did my body (lol). As I got bigger, I found it more difficult to stay on the pillow and would often slide down it throughout the night waking up to horrible reflux. About two weeks ago, I decided to put a pillow behind the wedge. This allowed me to slide my arm/shoulder in between the wedge and the pillow... giving my body a greater angle to stay on while still supporting my head. This is the most magnificent pillow ever now. With my arm behind it, I am “locked” into the pillow and don’t slide down and. My arm and shoulder are more comfortable... but most importantly I am not awoken by burning fire raging though my esophagus. This is definitely a must have if you suffer from any type of reflux

I'm a back sleeper with two issues: I have occasional acid reflux AND I've got a big butt (and I cannot lie). I have tried everything to emulate a gentle incline and nothing worked until I got this wedge pillow. At first I worried the incline was not tall enough, but I've had it for two weeks and I'm sleeping soundly, staying asleep, and waking without pain. I have a large frame, but this is comfortably wide and I don't feel like I'm going to roll off the side. While lying on my back, I do not use a head pillow, but if I turn to my side, I have a small pillow that I use on top of the wedge. I was pleasantly surprised that the memory foam didn't make me too hot, as I am typically a VERY HOT sleeper. The incline is enough to discourage my occasional acid reflux. Even better, the wedge pillow plus a pillow under my knees helps push my lower back into the mattress, which is a pain point because of the aforementioned big butt. As my husband says, "you are one picky woman," so I hope this will help others make a decision! I researched extensively before deciding on this wedge pillow and am glad I found this.

The angle of the pillow and comfort level are great but I’ve just had to put it outside because the smell was SO intense. I’ve been using it for one day and the smell was just so strong it was making me feel unwell. I did some googling and I have it marinating in baking soda outside to try to help - fingers crossed. Update: After 2 or 3 days outside on our patio covered in baking soda, I shook it off and put the case back on and the odor is gone!

Thie pillow wedge is everything we expected! This wedge has helped my daughter with her medical issues. Night 2 and my daughter is sleeping much better.

I don't leave reviews normally but in this case hope to save someone hassle and money. I read all of the reviews prior to ordering and discounted most of the ones saying there was a horrible smell figuring they were being overly sensitive or didn't allow it to air out. I noticed a very potent chemical smell the minute I unwrapped this wedge pillow. Even after handling it for just a couple of minutes the odor permeated my hands. I put the wedge pillow out in the hot Arizona Sun all afternoon and again for 2 more days and there is no odor improvement. To me it smells like a very harsh chemical smell. I also removed the cover and soaked in a mixture of baking soda and vinegar and rinsed and let air dry. The odor is still there as strong as ever! Like a combo of cheap perfume and bug spray. Nothing I want to put next to my face, for sure! Impossible to send the pillow back once it has expanded so now I will have to try and give it a cold water wash and hope it will spring back to shape. And there is no type of customer service for issues like this. When you try to go to customer support to complain it actually gives you an article on 'eliminating odor', so they are definitely aware that this product has complaints and frequent returns for the toxic odor but with over 3,000 sold, just don't care. Seriously, pay a few extra dollars and find a wedge pillow off of another site. Your health is worth it! I am very suspicious of any product that smells this toxic.

Does what it is supposed to do. There's a little smell from it but it goes after a few days. I placed mine outside for a few hours and it dissipate almost completely. I like the size it's very big allow for very good back support. Recommended.

I ordered two of these pillows and unfortunately me and the person I ordered for have been left with the most severe neck and back pain. Please be careful before ordering and wanting to return as I had to pay over £30 to return the items.

Absolutely love this wedge, it is so much more comfortable than the foam wedge i was previously using.

Bought this pillow to help with snoring. Unfortunately did not solve problem. The foam is very hard and has very little give. It is ok for sleeping when on my back (a position that normally makes snoring worse) but trying to sleep on my side is painful because of so little give, my shoulder ended up in my chin. I have now reverted back to my old pillow and love it. I will try something else to help with the snoring.

I absolutely loved this pillow, but had to return it because it was too low for my needs. It definitely didn't give me that 30-degree inclination I need to help me with my GERD. I found that it was more 6 inches thick than 7—even less when you put your weight on it. The bamboo cover is incredibly soft. Most other wedge pillows come with a polyester cover and I was concerned about friction and static. There's none of that with the Xtreme Comforts pillow. I strongly recommend this pillow if all you need is a slight elevation. As a side sleeper who is prone to back pain, I did not experience any discomfort from using this pillow.
